With spring in the air, Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi welcomes guests back to PIGNETO’s terrazza for gastronomy above the clouds. Set to reopen on April 10, 2023, the panoramic rooftop terrace is perched on the 39th floor, soaring 200 metres (670 feet) above the bustling streets of Otemachi.

Take a front-row seat to unfettered views of Japan’s iconic capital. The dynamic city skyline rubs shoulders with the lush gardens of the Imperial Palace, a visual testament to the intriguing contrasts that define the Tokyo experience.

This open-air setting evolves through the day, from relaxed afternoons bathed in golden sunshine to the magical hours of twilight, thrumming with sociable energy. As darkness falls, the glitter of Tokyo provides a compelling backdrop for epicurean Italian journeys.

The Terrazza at PIGNETO will stay open until the end of October, offering both international visitors and local residents the perfect spot to soak in the best of spring and summer.

Top of the World: Italian Lunch

Savour a sensational Italian lunch crafted by PIGNETO Chef Yoshihiro Kigawa. Showcasing tried-and-true recipes from Italy and seasonal produce from Japan, this gourmet feast is served against the Capital’s iconic cityscapes and verdant gardens. On fine days, Mount Fuji itself even makes an appearance. Warmed by mellow sunshine and refreshed by the pleasant breeze, each bite tastes even better up here, from on top the world.

Along with a selection of prix fixe menus, the Terrazza also offers a sharing-style menu of pastas and pizzas – perfect for laidback afternoons with friends and family. Alessandro de Leo, the master pizzaiolo from Naples, works his magic with handcrafted dough, fresh tomato sauce and precision-melted cheese to deliver the most delectable of kiln-baked pizzas.

Come sunset, the Terraza transforms into a lively social hub. Reconnect and catch up with colleagues and close ones, against a backdrop of jewel skies and sparkling cityscapes. PIGNETO’s weekday free flow package includes aperitivo, sparkling wine, beer, light cocktails and a sharing platter of Italian nibbles. Raise a glass to Tokyo’s famed golden hour with an Aperol Spritz – light, bright and perfect for an early toast.

As the sun disappears below the horizon, the open-air terrace changes once again, an intimate night-time soiree sets the stage for authentic Italian gastronomy. Surrounded by the bright lights of Tokyo and canopied by starry skies, enjoy a curation of specialties by Chef Yoshihiro and his talented team. Steak aficionados are sure to love Fiorentina For Two – a hearty T-bone steak paired with Chianti wine sauce.
