Newly Renovated Beach Homes Bring Families and Friends Together at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita

Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, a five-star resort on Mexico’s Pacific coast, debuts three newly renovated oceanfront Beach Homes inspired by the property’s legacy of bringing families and friend groups together in the lush coastal backdrop of the Riviera Nayarit. The Coral, Arena and Marea Beach Homes each occupy a private parcel of beachfront real estate and offer guests an idyllic home-away-from-home with all the thoughtful amenities and services that the Resort is known for.

“The family experience is everything in Punta Mita and the ability to gather around the table, firepit or pool is a meaningful part of every guest’s stay,” says John O’Sullivan, Regional Vice President and General Manager at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. “With this in mind, we set out with the talented founders of Uribe Krayer and Studio 395 to design beach homes with plenty of communal gathering spaces that invite guests to spend quality time engaging in conversation, playing games or enjoying a meal.”

The Coral and Arena Beach Homes were designed by Uribe Krayer, a local interior design firm that also helped refresh the Resort’s casitas and plunge pool suites as part of its greater renovation. The team incorporated locally-sourced materials that pay homage to Mexico’s natural beauty, such as Huanacaxtle (Guanacaste) wood and copper. Traditional embroideries made by artisans from the town of San Dionisio Ocotepec in Oaxaca and contemporary Mexican art show appreciation for Mexico’s rich regional flair.

“We designed each Beach Home with personal connection in mind,” saiysErica Krayer, co-founder and designer, Uribe Krayer. “By weaving traditional Mexican styles into contemporary indoor and outdoor living areas that are equally as functional as they are elegant, we created spaces where guests can enjoy the destination and the company of their loved ones on a deeper level.”

The Marea Beach Home, designed by Victor Jimenez of Studio 395, features contemporary nature-inspired design that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding coastal environment. Eclectic hand-selected textiles from local Mexican artisans reflect the diversity of the country’s unique communities.

• Coral Beach Home: This inviting wood-accented home features a breezy open layout that anchors a private beach and an ocean-facing freeform pool. Families and friend groups can spread out or convene across the 20,451 square-foot home and enjoy unique features including a movie theatre, spa and fitness center.
• Arena Beach Home: Located on Manzanillas Beach, this contemporary-Mexican beach home accommodates up to 12 guests across 18,729 square feet. Features include ensuite marble bathrooms, two outdoor showers, a plunge pool, an infinity pool and unobstructed access to the Pacific Ocean.
• Marea Beach Home: Stunning ocean views of the Pacific and nearby natural islands come with this 7,200 square-foot home located directly on the beach. All bedrooms offer private terraces, and the primary bedroom features a private plunge pool. Communal areas include a gourmet kitchen and a plush outdoor dining area.

“Each private home features expansive outdoor spaces with jaw-dropping views of the Pacific coast,” says Ofelia Uribe, co-founder and designer, Uribe Krayer. “We knew the indoor spaces had to compete with that, so we emphasized the areas that made people want to stay inside as long as possible. The gym, kitchen, movie theatre and spa are now essential spaces where guests linger, indulge and create memories.”
