Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco Celebrates 52nd Annual LGBTQ+ Pride Throughout June

Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco will commemorate 2022 Pride in June with celebrations that include a special Pride-edition of MKT Social Club, Drag Brunch and a several new cocktails whose proceeds will benefit the SF LGBT Center, which provides a wide variety of programs and services for the entire local LGBTQ+ community.

Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco will kick off the festivities on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with a special Pride-edition of MKT Social Club, a monthly gathering for Hotel guests and locals that offers special off-menu beverages and bites, live entertainment and first-hand opportunities to connect with both global and local purveyors of wine, spirits and more, all hosted by long-time Bay Area native and Food and Beverage Assistant Director Jesse Caetano.

June’s MKT Social Club will feature a divas and showtunes DJ set to launch four new cocktails from luxury premium tequila Don Julio, and Ketel One Botanical vodka, each only available throughout the month of June at MKT Restaurant & Lounge.

• D’groni: an agave spin on the classic Negroni, with Don Julio Blanco, Campari and sweet vermouth
• El Don: warm and refreshing, with Don Julio Reposado, fresh grapefruit juice, Aperol, lime, agave nectar, prosecco float
• King Orange: smooth and aromatic, with Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom, Grand Marnier, Campari, lime

For every D’groni, El Don or King Orange cocktail sold in June 2022, the Hotel will donate USD 1 to the SF LGBT Center.

Additionally, MKT Social Club will unveil the Pride Fizz, which was created in honour of the LGBTQ+ community, and will be a mainstay at MKT Restaurant & Lounge throughout 2022. A colourful take on the Gin Fizz, the Instagram-worthy elixir features Ketel One Botanical Cucumber & Mint, lime and simple syrup over Pride flag-coloured ice. For every Pride Fizz sold throughout the year, Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco will donate USD 2 to the SF LGBT Center.

The festivities will continue with Drag Brunch at MKT (USD 75 prix fixe per person, plus USD 45 per person to add never-ending Moët champagne or Whispering Angel rosé) on June 11, 2022. Executive Chef Kevin Tanaka has created a special four-course brunch experience that features entrees including the notorious MKT Brunch Burger, dungeness crab benedict, and MKT’s Asian-inspired chicken and waffles. The two-hour show, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm, features electric performances by the reigning Miss Gay West Coast USofA, Mercedez Munro, and friends Paju Munro and Arya Munro. The 52nd annual San Francisco Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Pride Celebration and Parade (Pride 52) takes place on Saturday and Sunday, June 25 and 26, 2022 with the legendary Parade starting at 10:30 am on Sunday morning. Guests of MKT Restaurant & Lounge Sunday brunch will have a VIP, birds-eye-view of the parade from the floor-to-ceiling windows that look directly onto Market Street, where the parade passes by.
