Welcome Winter Solstice at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North
Welcome winter solstice and commemorate the longest night of the year with meditation, sound healing and intention setting at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
“Celebrating winter solstice with mindfulness and intention setting is the perfect opportunity to welcome the year ahead, embrace blessings and let go of negativity,” says Senior Spa Director Jaana Roth. “The holidays can be a joyful, yet stressful, season. Winter solstice is a chance to hit the pause button and take time for self-care and reflection.”
The evening begins at 5:00 pm with guided meditation and sound healing, led by instructor Renée Colby. Following the class, guests are invited to set their intentions and release any negativity or energy that no longer serves. Complimentary wassail, a hot mulled cider drink perfect for toasting holiday cheer, will be served.
Open to both Resort and local guests, the Winter Solstice experience is offered at USD 25 per person. Local guests are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats. All guests should check in at The Spa upon arrival.
Those wishing to make a day of rest and relaxation can book a seasonal treatment in The Spa. The Holiday Glow Massage features a full body massage with a blend of essential oils, including scents of ginger, orange and glove. The treatment concludes with a glass of sparkling wine, and is offered in both 60 and 90 minutes, beginning at a cost of USD 195 on weekdays. The Holiday Glow Facial offers an Express Hydrafacial, combined with a Sole Satisfaction massage to ease tired feet. The 30-minute service begins at a price of USD 295 on weekdays. Both services are available from November 22, 2021, to January 2, 2022.
