Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti Welcomes Joao Santos as a Visiting Practitioner this July and August

Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti will welcome international wellness practitioner Joao Santos this July and August as a visiting practitioner at the property’s Serengeti Kani Spa. At its central Serengeti location, guests of the Lodge will be able to combine days of thrilling safari adventures alongside tailored rejuvenation, with the Visiting Practitioners program further complementing the existing spa menu that draws on indigenous knowledge and traditional techniques to unlock the restorative power of African botanicals.

As a highly regarded international wellness consultant and practitioner, freelance professional masseur Joao Santos performs integrated therapies and specializes in dry massage (without oil). Through his work, Joao has travelled extensively, fulfilling various placements as a guest expert therapist and collaborating with several leading spa brands. Having trained both at the Chiva-Som Academy in Bangkok and the Steiner Academy in London, Joao has collaborated with several international spas and hotels, including Four Seasons Resorts Seychelles and Four Seasons Resorts Maldives.

For the Serengeti Visiting Practitioners program this summer, Joao Santos will offer tailored appointments for unique combinations of his wide-ranging therapies, which include:

• Dry massage sessions (no oil), which combine techniques of shiatsu, Thai massage, Chinese Tuina, and trigger point therapy (60/90 minutes)
• Signature foot reflexology and Indian head massage (75 minutes)
• Foot reflexology (45 minutes)
• Express dry back massage (30 minutes)

Immersed in the raw beauty of the African wilderness, the Serengeti Kani Spa provides a connection to nature at every turn, from sweeping savannah views from each treatment suite’s private balcony to naturally sourced ingredients and a nourishing wellness shot of baobab juice as a welcome drink for all guests.

Private appointments with Joao Santos will be available to all guests at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti from July 1 to August 30, 2022 at a price of USD 230 for 90 minutes, USD 200 for 75 minutes, USD 150 for 60 minutes and USD 90 for 30 minutes.
