Cinder Bar Launches “Tasting Thursdays” on the Rooftop at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis This Summer

This summer, St. Louis’ favourite sunset rooftop, Cinder Bar offers a full line-up of events and exciting offerings to complement its stunning views of the iconic Gateway Arch and majestic Mississippi.  With “Tasting Thursdays,” Cinder Bar, the al fresco hot spot located on the eighth floor of Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis, a lively summer vibe comes to the terrace with DJ music and a revolving selection of spirits to taste and mix.

Each Thursday, a different noted spirit brand will be spotlighted and host an intimate tasting area where guests can sip and savour the evening’s selections. The bar’s talented mixology team will also craft a special cocktail each week designed to highlight the selected spirit, which guests can order in addition the full drinks menu. Brand ambassadors will be on hand to offer a personalized experience and provide fun giveaways.  Adding to the mood, celebrated St. Louis DJ Mark Lewis will be spinning up the perfect summer soundtrack.  All this while the sky turns shades of gold and pink as the sun sets behind the gleaming Arch.

Tasting Thursdays will be held weekly June 16 through August 25, 2022 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm with open seating.  There is no cover charge and guests are welcome to arrive and depart at their leisure.  Reservations can be made at Open Table to hold a spot.  Here is the full event schedule:

Open seven nights a week, Cinder Bar is the perfect spot to enjoy cocktails while the sun sets over the downtown skyline.  The lushly landscaped patio features tables and plush seating nestled around a fountain and fire pit illuminated by twinkling bistro lights. An innovative cocktail menu inspired by the city’s distinctive character features drinks, such as The Gateway with Brandy, Cachaça, Pineapple, Lemon, Cinnamon-Infused Aperol Float and Lafayette Square Tropical Sangria with White Wine, Pineapple, Orange, Rum, Giffard Banana Liqueur.  There are also wines by the glass and a handpicked selection of beers.

The bar’s food menu created by the culinary team of the award-winning Cinder House restaurant, includes some South American influenced options, including Street Corn with Aioli, Tajin, Queso Fresco; Brazilian Cheese Pillows served with Brazilian Leek Marmalade, Chive; and, Jalea Crispy Shrimp and Squid served with Pineapple Aioli, Salsa Criolla.  These are offered alongside snacking favourites such as the Chef’s Selection Charcuterie Board and Onion Dip with Scallion, Chive Oil, and Potato Chips.
