Advanced Sommelier Alisha Blackwell-Calvert of Cinder House at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis Selected as 2023 Iconoclast Dinner Wine Honoree

Cinder House at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis announces that Advanced Sommelier Alisha Blackwell-Calvert has been selected as the Wine Honoree for the 2023 Iconoclast Dinner being held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at The James Beard House in New York City.

With the mission of broadening the conversation to include the diverse voices making significant contributions to culture through the lens of food, the signature Iconoclast Dinner event honours a global team of culinary, wine, and spirits trailblazers of colour.  The impressive roster of honorees collaborates on an annual one-of-a-kind intimate gastronomic experience at the legendary James Beard House.

This most recent honour adds to the list of numerous accolades that Alisha has earned including: 2021 “Sommelier of the Year” Wine Enthusiast Magazine Wine Star Award nominee, Wine Enthusiast "Top 40 Under 40 Tastemakers;" and a Feast Magazine “Rising Star” in 2018. Previously, she received the 2015 Walter Clore Certified Sommelier Scholarship for top score and attained the Certified Specialist of Wine certification through the Society of Wine Educators with a 99% score the same year.
