The Surf Club Welcomes Michelin Starred Kosaka and Chef Shinichi Inoue

Celebrated sushi restaurant arrives for winter residency at Miami icon, home to Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at The Surf Club

With a season of new experiences on the horizon at The Surf Club, home to Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at The Surf Club, this storied destination is welcoming Michelin-starred sushi restaurant Kosaka and Chef Shinichi Inoue from New York City for an extraordinary collaboration from December 1, 2021 through March 27, 2022.

In the historic setting of The Surf Club’s Hemingway Tower, up a spiral stairwell surrounded by photographs of the social club’s legendary festivities, the backdrop and the menu will feed the imagination. Here, Michelin starred sushi chef Shinichi Inoue will present Kosaka’s multi-course omakase. Innovative flavours and textures capture the essence of seasonally prized selections sourced from Toyosu in Japan, served on custom-made ceramics that further embody Japanese beauty.

The experience begins with a suimono, a clear fish soup, followed by hassun, Japanese small plates and a sashimi course. Next, a very rare item known as shirako sha soba, deep fried winter cod milt, is followed by a series of nigiri served hand-to-hand from sushi chef to guest, concluding with dessert and Japanese tea. Guests can also anticipate other chef surprises to be served.

The Kosaka residency at The Surf Club will be available nightly with select seating available from 5:00 pm, Wednesday through Sunday. Price per person is USD 300.
