Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square Announces Program of Coronation Celebrations Fit for King
This summer, Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square invites guests to celebrate the next chapter in British history with a delightful program of festivities in honour of the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and his wife Camilla, The Queen Consort. Whether living like a royal in one of the Hotel’s most stately residences, enjoying the King’s very own pre-dinner tipple at Mei Ume or enjoying the royal treatment at the Hotel’s luxurious spa, Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square provides guests an array of indulgent experiences to mark the historic occasion.
Gastronomic Delights Fit for Royalty
The Hotel’s restaurants and bars will offer a range of delicious dining experiences guaranteed to please any palate. Guests can indulge their sweet tooth in the time-honoured British tradition of afternoon tea in Rotunda Lounge with the Crown Jewels Afternoon Tea. The tea features a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, scones and delicious pastries inspired by the treasures of the Tower of London and the King’s upcoming Coronation. These decadent desserts include The Crown, modelled off St Edwards Crown, which is the crown used at the moment of coronation; The Garden, which was inspired by King Charles III’s beloved gardens at Highgrove House; The Victoria, a nod to His Royal Highness’ favourite tea, black Darjeeling taken with honey; and The Coin, which was inspired by the Tower of London’s series of commemorative coins.
Mei Ume pays homage to the occasion with an artfully curated cocktail, The King’s Ritual Martini, offering a twist on HRH’s favourite pre-dinner tipple. Comprised of Zacapa 23 Solera, Aquavit Matured at Sea and Cherry Bitters, the beverage is garnished with essence of Louis XIII Cognac and an intricate crown fashioned from orange peel. Guests can enjoy the cocktail as the King does, as a pre-dinner aperitif as part of the restaurant’s special Izakaya Time menu.
The Hotel’s two Michelin Starred restaurant La Dame de Pic London (which translates to the Queen of Spades) will also offer a four-course express lunch tasting menu on Friday and Saturdays throughout the season. Guests can raise a toast to the new monarch while enjoying complimentary corkage as part of their experience.
Experience the Royal Treatment at The Spa
The Hotel’s luxurious spa offers a calming oasis from the excitement of the season, and the opportunity to indulge in a relaxing Rose Crown Treatment designed especially for the moment. The treatment uses chilled rose quartz crystals and a dual action facial mask of re-mineralizing Mermaid’s Purse and Laminaria seaweed leaves to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate tired skin, and concludes with a soothing "crown" massage to relieve scalp tension. Spa day passes with access to the Hotel’s vitality pool, sauna and gym are also available.
Live Like a Royal in the Hotel’s Resplendent Residences
The Hotel’s central London location provides the ideal base from which to soak up the celebrations in style, and guests are invited to Live Like a Royal as part of a regal room package. Available until the end of summer, guests can experience a two-night stay in one of the Hotel’s splendid residences, which boast stunning views of iconic London landmarks such as The Shard, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. As part of their decadent stay, guests will enjoy daily breakfast in Rotunda Bar and Lounge, the Hotel’s delectable Crown Jewels Afternoon Tea and Rose Crown Treatment in the Hotel’s relaxing spa.
