Sakura Season Springs into Mei Ume with Floral Installation and Special Menu at Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity Square

March 24, 2023,
London at Ten Trinity Square

This spring, Mei Ume at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square celebrates the arrival of the cherry blossom season with a sensational floral installation and specially curated set menu.

From March 24 to April 15, 2023, guests are invited to enjoy the art of Hanami, the traditional Japanese custom of “flower viewing,” as Mei Ume is transformed into a cherry blossom garden. The restaurant will be adorned with an arching display of pink and white flowers in full bloom, while twisting boughs of blossoming branches will interlace the bar.

Beneath the colourful canopy, guests will be transported east with a four-course menu curated especially for the season. Diners will enjoy an array of traditional and modern Japanese dishes by the restaurant’s Head Sushi Chef Yuanchao Chen, ranging from miso soup to sashimi, nigiri and hijiki salad and more. A highlight of the standout menu is the Ishiyaki-inspired main course, a Kagoshima A3 wagyu steak served and cooked in front of diners on a hot stone, which will be followed by delicate Sakura Ile Flottante, complete with sake infused crème anglaise and almond meringue.

The special menu is complemented by an artfully crafted Cherry Blossom cocktail by Mei Ume’s mixologist Mihai Budisan, which features Haku vodka and plum sake infused with maraschino cherry. A fine selection of Japanese sake and whiskies are also available on the restaurant’s extensive beverage list.

The four-course set menu is priced at GBP 144 per person and available now until April, 15, 2023.
