BOURBON STEAK DC at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC Welcomes Guests Back with Extended Alfresco Dining
BOURBON STEAK DC once again resumes service this week at one of DC’s most sought-after patios. The extended patio includes the front and back patios of Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, offering ample space to physically distance in a beautiful setting within the city while lingering over handcrafted cocktails and legendary steaks.
The restaurant is also pleased to announce the recent appointment of Jose Gonzalez as General Manager. A true leader in the industry whose reputation has made lasting impressions with his team, Gonzalez brings more than a decade of experience to the property. Gonzalez’s invaluable experience and insights began in DC as a manager in training opening BOURBON STEAK in 2008. Since then, he has proven his impact in a variety of leadership roles at MINA Group properties in Baltimore, Jackson Hole, and most recently Chicago, where he served as general manager for Margeaux Brasserie & Petit Margeaux.
“It’s been amazing to see Jose’s progression with Four Seasons and MINA Group, and we look forward to welcoming him and his family back to our nation’s capital,” says Jason de Vries, Hotel Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC. “He’s a restauranteur and a true hospitality leader that embodies the position.”
The team is excited to welcome back guests to indulge in MINA classics such as the famed lobster pot pie and ahi tuna tartare. And of course, the duck fat fries, truffle bread, and the newest steak on the menu, the Australian wagyu filet with its depth of flavour and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Then, finish on a sweet note with MINA’s signature tiramisu.
BOURBON STEAK DC was recently honoured by Wine Spectator with the 2020 Best of Award of Excellence for the eleventh consecutive year. Recognised for its wine list, the restaurant also received a nod for strengths in champagne, burgundy, bordeaux, California, France, and Italy. The ranking is the second-highest award dished out by Wine Spectator.
