Multi-Generational Activities in Whistler: A Three-Day Itinerary

Whistler, Canada

Whistler is a destination for exploring year-round but the warmer months in the Coastal Mountains is peak adventure season. Beyond the world-renowned skiing at Whistler Blackcomb, there is an abundance of activities in the Sea to Sky region, for every age.

For those families looking to reunite safely and compassionately after time apart, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler has created a dream three-day itinerary for children, parents, and grandparents to reconnect and enjoy the restorative outdoors. Together, we can help make dreams come true.

Day 1

Unplug and spend quality time together exploring one of Whistler’s five sparkling lakes, or hiking through the evergreen forests on Whistler’s many trails (at every skill-level). Or, pick-up a mountain bike or accessible e-bike and go for a spin on the nearby cycling trails

In the afternoon, let an expert take the lead and see the sights from high above in a private float plane or helicopter charter.

Day 2

Take a short stroll to the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre (located just opposite to the Resort). Here, children of all ages can learn about the rich, unique and vibrant cultures of our hosts, the Squamish and Lil'wat First Nations. Looking for a one-of-a-kind experience? The Reunite and Reconnect Offer at Four Seasons Resort Whistler (exclusive to guests of the Residences) includes a curated family experience at the Cultural Centre, including private performance, lunch and crafting class.

Get into nature and take a drive up to Pemberton while exploring the stunning landscapes and lakes along the way. An insider tip: bring the whole family to North Arm Farm (Pemberton) and enjoy delicious farm-fresh treats and meet the adorable friendly farm animals.

After working up an appetite, stop in at Braidwood Tavern and enjoy Whistler’s laid-back vibe in this cosy, cabin setting, serving up updated American classics such as levelled-up green chile burgers and truffle parmesan fries and hand-curated local craft beers and inventive cocktails.

Day 3

Leave the kids and grandkids with one of the Resort’s trusted child care experts and embrace the warmer mornings with a round at one of Whistler’s stunning golf courses.

After hitting the green, bring the whole family out on an unforgettable family Bear Viewing Tour. Get a peek into the life of Whistler’s cutest residents and experience pristine views surrounding you as you are guided through old growth forest to visit active bear dens, day beds, and feeding sites.

When the sun goes down, make family night extra dreamy with a walk through the wondrous Vallea Lumina - a fantastical experience in the forest, and a sparkling cap to a day filled with discovery.

Adventure has been waiting, and it’s here when you’re ready.
