Turning 25 is a noteworthy milestone; turning 50 is even more so. Four Seasons Hotel Austin will celebrate both occasions in 2011 as the property marks 25 years in the Texan capital at the same time as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts commemorates 50 years as a company.

In honour of its 50th birthday, Four Seasons unveiled a new website, livingvalues.fourseasons.com, that highlights its work in three key areas: supporting sustainability, building communities and advancing cancer research.

Locally, Four Seasons Hotel Austin will mark its own birthday by presenting customers with a special offer on the 25th day of each month. The following promotions are planned through the end of 2011:

• April 25: Stay at the Hotel on April 25 and receive the original December 1986 opening room rate of USD 89.00 (a total of 50 rooms will be sold at this price). Rooms will be available to book online or by phone starting Monday, April 11 at 10:00 am.
• May 25: Starting at 5:00 pm, the first 50 people in TRIO will receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.
• June 25: Locals and guests can participate in a Pay it Forward Service Day, including a Lady Bird Lake beautification and tree-planting project. Guests who volunteer a minimum of three hours will receive a USD 50.00 room credit, and locals will receive a certificate for 25% off dinner in TRIO.
• July 25: For 25 minutes (from 5:00 to 5:25 pm), patrons will enjoy 50-cent specialty drinks in the Lobby Lounge.
• August 25: The first 50 dinner guests in TRIO will receive a complimentary gold-leaf golden birthday dessert with the purchase of an entrée.
• September 25: Guests will be able to revel in Austin’s beautiful outdoors with a USD 50.00 picnic basket.
• October 25: Spa guests can book a 50-minute Swedish massage for USD 50.00 (normally USD 130.00).
• November 25: All guests staying at the Hotel on November 25 will receive a special amenity and have a tree planted in their honour.
• December 25: All  guests staying at the Hotel on December 25 will receive a USD 50.00 credit, valid on incidentals including In-Room Dining, TRIO and the Spa.

In addition to the monthly offers above, guests turning 25 or 50 years old in 2011 will receive a complimentary room upgrade (based on availability) during their first visit of the year. Offer must be mentioned upon booking and verified with ID.
