The Pool Terrace Rooms and Suites mark the turn of another chapter of the Hotel’s property-wide renovation, which has conceived or reconceived accommodations and public settings alike to dazzle international travellers and invite local and regional guests to make lasting memories in the prestigious Garden City residential district of Cairo. The new rooms and suites are true to Four Seasons promise of providing guests a home away from home, with three pools – including a main pool, lap pool, and a shallow pool for younger guests – waiting just outside.

Each of the five new Pool Terrace Rooms is sized for two guests, perfect to enjoy basking in Cairo’s sunrays and starlight. Interiors are arrayed with slatted wood-lined walls in white and blue stone flooring topped with soft rugs. The design mix of contemporary furnishings includes a plush sofa in a soft blue tone, plenty of throw pillows, comfortable seating, and a large TV unit that rotates for viewing from the bed or the living area. Expressionistic floral paintings and locally sourced pottery including bowls and vases handcrafted by local artists further brighten guest stays.

The Pool Terrace Suite is also sized for two guests yet is more spacious, with a separate living area with a sofa, TV, and a cosy set up for dining, plus a roomy bedroom walled for privacy with a sofa of its own. Both the guest rooms and the suite are outfitted with a full marble bathroom and walk-in closet. They are also designed to extend outdoors with sliding glass doors leading to personal terraces on the pool deck that are perfect for cocktails and al fresco dining between quick dips in the pool, with lounge chairs, dining table with chairs, TV, and handsome wood blinds for privacy.

Nearby dining offerings include The Pool restaurant serving light bites and snackable fare in the sun and shade, and the bright and inviting Byblos restaurant, a destination for trendy traditional Lebanese cuisine, offering indoor and outdoor dining areas styled with colours of the fertile Beqaa Valley. Opening soon will be the Upper Deck Lounge serving Asian-Latin cuisine and specialty cocktails, plus shisha outdoors and live entertainment nightly. The Hotel Spa also beckons with wellness offerings inspired by Ancient Egyptian rituals and its glorious, sunlit indoor pool.

The Pool Terrace accommodations are the latest enhancement of the Hotel’s pool deck, which has been re-envisioned with new landscaping, furnishings, and dining offerings over the past year. The scene is now a popular resort-like destination for guests over age 12, with year-round availability creating a splendid space for couples on romantic getaways and staycations, groups of friends on weekend escapes, and celebrations from bachelorette parties to birthdays, anniversaries, and more.
