In celebration of 35 years of Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, Adorn Bar & Restaurant’s Executive Chef Richie Farina is hosting a special four-course dinner with Chicago culinary community leaders and Hotel Chef alumni Carrie Nahabedian, Sarah Stegner, Kevin Hickey, and George Bumbaris on the evening of Thursday, March 21, 2024. Located on the seventh floor of the Hotel, Adorn Restaurant offers ingredient-driven fine-dining with unexpected flavours and presentations, overlooking the Magnificent Mile.

The evening, centred around early spring produce, will bring this incredible cast of chefs together to each create a course highlighting their culinary skill and legacy at the Hotel. The dinner will begin with Chef Nahabedian’s White Asparagus dish made with blood orange maltaise sauce, candied meyer lemons, morels, and spring greens. The final course will be a Short Rib by Chef Farina with spring vegetable “risotto,” puffed beef tartare bite on wheatgrass. Following dinner, the Adorn team will present a dessert activation to cap off the night. Tickets for the Seasons of Culinary Excellence dinner are USD 235 per person, with an optional curated wine experience available for USD 60 per person. Reservations can be made through OpenTable.

“It’s an honour to share a night of culinary festivities with the incredible chefs who paved the way for originality and excellence in the Hotel before me,” says Chef Farina, Adorn Restaurant Executive Chef. “We are thrilled to welcome these esteemed chefs back into the kitchen and we look forward to collaborating together to create an unforgettable, one-night-only experience for guests.”

Chef Nahabedian served as Executive Chef at Four Seasons hotels for over a decade, working at hotels in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Today, Carrie is the owner and chef of Brindille, a French fine-dining restaurant in a sophisticated, modern setting. Chef Stegner and Bumbaris are the co-owners and chefs of Prairie Grass Cafe, having worked together for more than two decades at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago (formerly a Four Seasons hotel), before opening. Chef Hickey is the chef-owner behind The Duck Inn, a neighbourhood gastro-tavern and 2024 James Beard Award nominee. His time with Four Seasons took him to Dublin, London and Atlanta before coming back to his home Chicago in 2004 to eventually helm Four Seasons Hotel Chicago as Executive Chef and Restaurant Director, where he led his team to two consecutive Michelin stars.

A percentage of proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Howard Brown Health, a local non-profit organization rooted in LGBTQ+ liberation, providing gender-affirming healthcare, and mobilizing for social justice.
