Toast with Taittinger at Brunch at Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City

November 30, 2023,
Mexico City, Mexico

Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City, the iconic oasis located in Reforma, has a new ally to take Sunday brunch to another level: Taittinger is the new Champagne for the most spectacular brunch in Mexico City.

Every Sunday, when the sun is marking noon, the emblematic central garden of Four Seasons becomes the setting for what is already a tradition in the fresh air of the capital: its famed brunch at the Zanaya restaurant, where guests can enjoy flavours of the sea and land with a vast gastronomic proposal, and what better than accompanied by a glass of great Champagne, with the sophistication and elegance that the Taittinger House represents.

The Taittinger family has run the Champagne house for almost a century, always striving for excellence. As a family Champagne house, they make different decisions: they invest their heart and their concern for the long term to preserve and develop a heritage built by previous generations, to transmit it to future ones.

In Champagne, patience is a virtue shared by both the winegrower and the cellar master. It is the combination of the weather and time that gives life and strength to the grapes and the vineyard. It is also the moment when wines are formulated and then Champagnes are made.

Only then is the art and intuition of the craftsmanship of Taittinger Champagne revealed. They are the worthy heirs of the historic, centuries-old Gallo-Romanesque chalk quarries and the ancient abbey of Saint-Nicaise.

Sophistication and Balance

Taittinger Brut Réserve is made with 40 percent Chardonnay, 35 percent Pinot Noir and 25 percent Pinot Meunier, grapes harvested from 35 different vineyards. This subtle blend results in a light, elegant, and balanced Champagne.

Taittinger Préstige Rosé, a vibrant and sophisticated Champagne, is made with 70 percent Pinot Noir and 30% percent Chardonnay. Its flavour reveals a subtle balance between freshness, red fruit structure, body, and silkiness, a character that shows a unique profile in a rosé Champagne.

The alliance between Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City and the Taittinger House present in this gastronomic experience was thought about the freedom offered by that special time of the week called Sunday: without ties or schedules, everything is ready for rest and fun, with enough time for ourselves and our tastes, in an urban oasis like the central garden of Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City.
