Sojung Park's professional journey has encompassed a wide range of roles, allowing her to deepen her knowledge and expertise from a range of perspectives – as a Guest Relations Officer, Hotel Assistant Manager, and now as Chief Concierge.

Today, at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, she draws on all her experience to bring the spirit of global hospitality to life, ensuring every guest at Four Seasons enjoys a truly extraordinary experience. From her Four Seasons tenure in the enchanting Vietnamese city of Hoi An to the vibrant streets of Seoul, she consistently goes above and beyond to deliver hospitality from the heart. Guided by the Golden Rule - treat others the way you would like to be treated - her unwavering commitment to upholding the Four Seasons brand always shines through.

As the guiding force behind the concierge team at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, Sojung holds a deep appreciation for “the power of words” to uplift travellers and individuals, and emphasises this to her team. As she says: “Communication doesn’t have to be complicated; it’s often the simplest words that stir people's hearts." Ever on a mission to guide the way, authentically-minded Sojung prides herself on instigating meaningful conversations – with guests and team members alike – that get to the heart of what matters: "I lead the team by example, fostering growth and improvement, each and every day."

In her free time, Sojung delights in two passions: running and exploring new restaurants and cafés. Lately, she's been drawn to the cosy eateries and trendy bars tucked away in Mullae-dong, a relaxed Seoul neighbourhood with a laid-back vibe, far from the hustle and bustle. She also loves exploring Seongsu-dong, the “Brooklyn of Seoul,” with its vibrant array of pop-up shops and hip galleries. And, as always, she takes great pride in recommending the very best of all worlds – from the luxury to the authentic – to Four Seasons guests.

Sojung cherishes the memories of her university days in the city, where a place called Dalbokki held a special place in her heart. Known for its mouthwatering tteokbokki, this eatery carries a nostalgic charm for her. Although she hasn't had the chance to recommend it to any guests yet, she would gladly share its location with a warm smile, knowing the joy it brings.

Soon after her return to Korea, Sojung discovered a hidden gem in Samcheong-dong called Maple Tree House. The Korean barbecue haven quickly became a personal favourite – a hidden gem that she continues to share this with numerous guests. The feedback has been resoundingly positive, with guests unanimous in declaring it a highlight of their stay. Indeed, it’s this ability to stir the soul and share experiences beyond the expected that continues to drive her every day.

“Every person has their own unique personality and preferences, and this extends to their travel style. When I curate and tailor guest trips I step into their shoes, immerse myself in their perspective, and recommend places I know they will love. I always go above and beyond to create memories that will stay with them forever.”
