Devoted to culinary seasonality and the joys of connection, Matsuyi at Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen is furthering its longevity-led concept with an upgraded Weekend Brunch – giving guests even more opportunity to relish time together over refined Japanese dishes.

Available every Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays, the new and expanded Matsuyi Weekend Brunch features a dazzling array of new choices – artful dishes that tempt both the palate and the eye, designed to be savoured in fun surrounds and an unrushed manner.

Tables are available for groups of 2 to 12 (with prior reservation) for unlimited access to the city’s most expansive Japanese culinary feast: endless platters of freshly sliced sashimi, nigiri sushi, maki rolls and hand rolls – as well as unlimited orders from a wide-ranging à la carte menu that features soups, salads and appetizers, tempura, teppanyaki, other hot specialities, bowls, and desserts.

From the deepest umami of a seafood miso soup through to the fire of wasabi-dabbed sashimi, the smokiness of tender-grilled mackerel to the heady aroma of truffle and scallop fried rice, this is a flavour-forward menu that honours Japanese tradition while also incorporating modern flourishes.

Matsuyi’s magical culinary team also conjures up such delights as deep-fried sake salt-koji marinated chicken, crispy pork belly spring rolls with vinegar miso sauce, king salmon and caviar with salad and yogurt dressing, teppanyaki salmon and urokoyaki tilefish. (Teppanyaki half-lobster, scallops, foie gras and prawns are limited to two of each per diner, while stripped prawn tempura is limited to four.)

Occupying a commanding city-view on the sixth floor of Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen, Matsuyi is lauded for its soothing design-led space and creative seasonal menu that highlights the beauty, simplicity and elegance of Japanese food. In addition to its upgraded popular weekend brunch menu, guests can also book one of two free flow drinks packages - non-alcoholic or alcoholic - to help keep the brunch chill vibe high and the focus on catching up, connecting, and celebrating a weekend done properly.

Brunch at Matsuyi is available from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, starts from CNY 498* per person, plus 15 percent service charge and related taxes. For reservations, call +86 (755) 8826 8686.
