The Camilla Olson Lookbook will come to life during a fashion show and luncheon at Quattro on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Olson, a local Palo Alto resident who began a collaboration with Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley and Quattro, will highlight her fall collection and showcase her ready to wear fall collection as part of Quattro’s Fashion series.

The inspiration for Olson’s Fall 2011 Collection comes from the concept of biomimicry, where design principles seek sustainable solutions. Biomimicry studies nature’s best ideas and applies the underlying design principles to innovation. The Fall 2011 Collection is a sophisticated architectural design that features deep rich colours, luxurious fabrics such as wool gabardine and sanded silk charmeuse, proprietary prints on silk chiffon blouses, and trench coats with epaulet details. Olson’s Identity label includes extraordinary pieces such as a hand woven wool gabardine evening jacket and laser cut fabrics giving dresses an architecturally modern look.

Sharing Olson’s artistic expression, Chef Marco Fossati’s three course menu will awaken appetites to the animation and innovation that he enlivens in his kitchen. And, in honour of its ten year anniversary, portions of lunch proceeds will be directed to Stanford’s Women's Health Program.

Reservations are available between 11:30 am and 12:00 pm, with informal modeling beginning shortly after noon. Three course lunch is USD 39.00 per guest, with a portion of the proceeds directed to the Women’s Health program.
