Buckingham Palace Reopens

August 25, 2022,
London at Ten Trinity Square

You haven’t really visited London until you have paid a visit to the Buckingham Palace. For the first time in two years, the historical Buckingham Palace has reopened its doors! The amazing concierge team at Four Seasons at Ten Trinity Square has provided a round-up of the best experiences available at the palace.

Catch One of the Exhibitions

There are plenty of exhibitions on display at Buckingham Palace. Take the time to learn more about history while visiting the palace by engaging in one or more of these exhibitions. At the moment, there are two exhibitions to choose from: Platinum Jubilee: The Queens Accession, and Japan: Courts and Culture. Tickets can be reserved through The Royal Collection Trust or through the concierge at Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square for Hotel guests.

Diamond Diadem

A palace always needs a crown, and a visit to Buckingham Palace is never complete without viewing the sparkling Diamond Diadem. Inside the Ball Supper Room is an exhibition of various works relating to the Queen’s Accession, including the famous diadem, which was worn by the Queen on the day of her coronation.

Guided Garden Tour

Until October 2, 2022, one can explore the incredible Buckingham Palace Gardens in all their glory by joining an expertly guided tour. The tour consists of a leisurely 45-minute walk through the private side of the Palace Garden. The guide will go through all the stories, and must-know information about all the features in the Garden. Spots for this tour must be reserved in advanced.

Family Pavilion

The Palace does offer children’s versions of every tour so the little ones can stay engaged throughout the day, and visit the Family Pavilion for some extra help for parents. The pavilion is located on one of the terraces outside as the tour comes to an end. With activities, as well as play areas, this is the perfect place for the little palace visitors to enjoy some free time.

Tea and Sweets at the Garden Café

Nothing says traditional British more than enjoying some tea in a historic palace, so why not stop by the Garden Café and partake in a cup of tea and some deliciously sweet desserts while overlooking the Palace’s Lawn? The Garden Café is open every day from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, and lunch is served daily from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm. For dinner, the Garden Café is open only on Tuesdays and Fridays from 6:00 until 9:00 pm. You can reserve a table ahead of time.

The concierge team at Four Seasons at Ten Trinity Square can help reserve any of the features guests of the Hotel wish to visit.
