The Graeco-Roman Museum of Alexandria is a significant museum in Egypt, which was architecturally designed to preserve and exhibit antiquities. It is the only museum that exclusively showcases the antiquities and civilization of Egypt during the Greek and Roman periods.

Giuseppe Botti, an Italian, had been working towards establishing a museum in Alexandria since 1889 to safeguard its antiquities from being displaced or destroyed. Finally, on June 1, 1892, the decision to establish the museum was issued.
