Wellness is a core element of the Four Seasons experience globally, and it shapes every aspect of the guest journey at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay. As Director of Spa and Wellness, Ni Ketut Candra brings a holistic approach rooted in both operational expertise and a deep understanding of restorative practices. “As one of the brand’s leading properties with a strong wellness focus, we have something to offer for renewal at every turn,” says Candra.
Her role spans daily treatment programming at HILYAA Wellness and Spa, oversight of five pools set within landscaped surroundings, and the careful sourcing of skincare products and culinary ingredients. Central to this approach are the resort’s wellness pillars, which encompass physical and mental balance, nutrition and sleep, and the preservation of healing traditions aligned with Saudi Arabia’s vision for a vibrant and welcoming future.
Candra also draws inspiration from the guiding philosophy of the resort’s wellness division, Traditional healing meets innovation. “Technology has transformed wellness by enhancing personalisation and outcomes,” she says. “At the same time, emotional connection and human touch remain fundamental to everything we do.”
Leading a team of 42 specialists across wellness and recreation, Candra oversees spa, fitness and family programming, including Kids For All Seasons, as well as a spacious indoor‑outdoor fitness centre.
Her remit also includes stewardship of the Discovery Centre, where an on‑site marine biologist works in partnership with the conservation organisation WiseOceans to protect and restore coral reefs along the resort’s 900‑metre beachfront, the longest in Triple Bay.
Balinese by birth, Candra was introduced to holistic healing through family influences and developed an early interest in hospitality during her upbringing in Indonesia. She began her career as a spa therapist while training as a yoga instructor, before expanding her expertise through international roles in Mexico, the Maldives and the Middle East. At Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, she contributed to a wellness programme inspired by the city’s pearl‑diving heritage.
Since joining Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay, Candra has worked closely with local partners to source regionally produced materials and experiences that align with Four Seasons standards while honouring Saudi Arabia’s heritage and sense of place.
Outside of her professional role, Candra maintains an active lifestyle rooted in the principles she advocates. “I’m a wellness ambassador – it comes naturally,” she says. “Staying active and caring for both body and mind is essential to balance.”
