From Europe to North Africa and now back to the Middle East, Till Klauss has many reasons to be excited as General Manager of Four Seasons Hoel Amman. Klauss, who is from Munich, Germany joins from Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza where he spent the four years as Hotel Manage,r making it over 20 years with Four Seasons.

Born in Germany but raised in Nairobi, Kenya, Klauss contemplated studying medicine and hospitality in college before settling on economics. But he realized he preferred working with people than with numbers, so he decided to pursue his hospitality career and that’s where it all started.

A graduate from Schweizerische, Hotelfachschule Luzern SHL in 2005, Switzerland with a diploma in hotel and restaurant management, Klauss started his Four Seasons career as an intern in the food and beverage division of the flagship Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris in 2001, and that’s where it all started.

After a few years of experience at various hotel brands in Switzerland and China, Klauss returned to Four Seasons Hotels for good in 2005, starting in stewarding. Klauss went on to rise in food and beverage management, travelling for assignments to England, Syria, Canada, Mexico, Egypt and now Jordan.

Outside of work, Till enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and discovering new places. He is currently adding Arabic, to an already impressive array of languages.  Jordan is now his 12th country of residence, with a family of six - his wife Julia, their children Sophia and Leo, and their two dogs, Otto and Eddy.
