Taste of Georgia Reflected on the New Seasonal Menu at Bar Margot at Four Seasons Atlanta

Dishes highlight the best local products paired with Four Seasons hospitality

Bar Margot, the swanky community lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, celebrates the spring season with local purveyors featured on a revamped menu for dinner and lunch. By combining seasonal flavours with modern cooking techniques, guests can experience Atlanta’s best ingredients artfully crafted by the culinary team lead by Restaurant Chef Chad “Sosa” Hester and Executive Chef Gavin Pera.

“Our new menu reflects what Atlanta truly is. Like myself, the ingredients are as local as they can be,” says Hester. “We wanted to represent the best Georgia has to offer and give each ingredient the opportunity to shine.”

An example of local producers guests can sample on the menu are wagyu from Chatel Farms in Augusta, Georgia; mushrooms from Qihe Mushroom Corp in Newnan, Georgia; royal red shrimp from Marshlands Seafood in Brunswick, Georgia; and greens from Tucker Farms in Rome, Georgia.

“The grilled Georgia shrimp is plated with green harissa, smoked olives, cauliflower, turmeric and chorizo crumble,” continues Hester. “Another favourite of mine on the new menu is the grouper prepared with field peas, duck fat potatoes, saffron-lemon froth and topped with a spoonful of caviar. Guests can finish a meal with Executive Pastry Chef Daniella Lea Rada’s strawberry pavlova and lavender frozen Greek yogurt.”

Two other highlights on the menu are the beef tartare and the sweet potato ravioli, which is another great vegetarian option with bold flavours.

A must-visit destination in the heart of Midtown, Bar Margot’s new menu will also introduce four mocktails and one spring-inspired cocktail. Lead mixologist Nick Middlebrooks uses fresh ingredients with house-made garnishes in Belle’s Berry, crafted with strawberries, rose, lemon verbena, vodka and topped with an aromatic vanilla simple syrup spray.
