Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta Hosts Second Annual Camp Peach Pals

Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta announces the return of Camp Peach Pals, its second annual pediatric oncology camp designed to bring the joys of childhood back to children touched by cancer. This extraordinary urban camp experience will take place from August 30 to September 2, 2024, offering young campers an unforgettable week of adventure, camaraderie, and healing within the luxurious setting of Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. 

Camp Peach Pals: A Mission of Joy and Healing

The mission of Camp Peach Pals is to provide a unique and joyous retreat for children battling cancer, allowing them to momentarily escape the challenges of their illness and rediscover the simple pleasures of childhood. This one-of-a-kind camp is tailored specifically for pediatric oncology patients, ensuring a safe, supportive, and incredibly fun environment. 

Origins and Growth

In 2018, the idea of a unique, urban sleepaway camp was born at Four Seasons Hotel Houston for kids whose lives have been touched by cancer. After years of success, the concept was adopted in Atlanta, forming Camp Peach Pals. An extension of Camp H-Town, Camp Peach Pals is a Section 501(c)(3) pediatric oncology camp that was founded in 2023 by Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. 

A Magical Experience

Last year's camp was a spectacular success, with the theme "Disney Magic of the Sea." Campers were treated to an immersive experience featuring beloved characters and settings from Disney's underwater adventures. Highlights included: 

• Personalized Disney-themed rooms, complete with robes and slippers 
• A Little Mermaid Experience 
• Exciting trips to the Atlanta Zoo and Ponce City Market 
• A lineup of daily activities, including dressing up and creative workshops 

Camp Peach Pals 2024: "Around the World" 

This year's theme, "Around the World," promises to be even more magical. From August 30 to September 2, 2024, Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta will transform its suites into cabins to simulate a campground experience, serving 16 amazing kids between the ages of 7 and 12 from the Atlanta area. Activities will be held both at the Hotel and throughout the city and surrounding areas, providing a diverse and enriching experience. 

Community Support and Sponsorship

Camp Peach Pals is funded by the generous contributions of individuals, businesses, and organizations. The camp is completely free for all campers, with an approximate cost of USD 2,500 to sponsor each child. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated and are crucial in making this special camp possible. All donors receive special acknowledgment on the Camp Peach Pals website and a special thank you card. 

Join in Making a Difference

Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta invites the public to join in supporting Camp Peach Pals. Donations and volunteer opportunities are available for those who wish to contribute to this worthy cause and help bring smiles to the faces of these remarkable children. 

Starting July 1, 2024, Bar Margot will be offering a specialty Camp Peach Pals cocktail, with proceeds going directly to fund campers’ ability to attend.
