Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay at the 5th Edition of the Bahrain International Trophy

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay continues its commitment to celebrating the Kingdom of Bahrain’s rich heritage and cultural legacy through its support of the 5th edition of the Bahrain International Trophy, with a local domestic Grade 3 race aptly named as the “Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay Cup.”

The inception of the Bahrain International Trophy in 2019 marked a pivotal moment in the Kingdom of Bahrain's horseracing history. Horseracing enthusiasts from around the world are anticipating the Bahrain International Trophy, which will witness strong competition between international horses represented by several well-known stables.

The 2023 running of the USD 1 million Bahrain International Trophy will take place on November 17, 2023 at the Rashid Equestrian & Horseracing Club. Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay sponsors the second race of the day, a 1,200-metre run of local bred horses. Following the race, Hotel Manager Skander Ayari will present the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay Cup.

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay housed the participants of the Group 2 race as well as host the Bahrain International Trophy’s Gala Dinner on November 15, 2023 at the Hotel’s lush lawns. The Hotel also saw the draw for the horses who will compete in the Bahrain International Trophy. The draw assigned the starting gate numbers for the horses participating in the race.

Horses are believed to have been part of Bahrain's culture for as long as 4,000 years, dating back to the Dilmun civilisation.
