Celebrating Azerbaijani Culture and Novruz Holiday Traditions at Four Seasons Hotel Baku
Following traditions, Four Seasons Hotel Baku presents another collaboration with local artisans to celebrate the upcoming Novruz holiday, a traditional holiday that welcomes start of the spring season. In the spirit of this holiday, the collaboration showcases local traditions and craftsmanship exhibiting handmade rugs and traditional tableware, incorporating Novruz festivities – tables are set with Novruz Khonchasi, a display of traditional sweets and beautiful decorations, symbolising the arrival of spring.
Through L’AHIJ brand’s tableware, guests can experience the classical table set up every Azerbaijani family has in their house during this beautiful spring holiday. The heart of the lobby features local Azerbaijani tea ceremony with samovar, armudu glass, bowls of nuts and dried and fresh fruits, enhanced by Azerkhalcha handmade rugs of different styles and fabrics. This collaboration highlights the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan and encourage guests to learn more about Azerbaijan’s traditions.
