Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel announces the appointment of Colin Bedford as the new Executive Chef, taking the reins of the culinary operations across the hotel. From Banquets and Pastry to Room Service, The Pool Bar and Café, and the renowned THE Blvd Restaurant and Lounge, Chef Bedford is poised to redefine luxury dining at this iconic Beverly Hills property.

With nearly 30 years of culinary experience, Chef Bedford brings a wealth of knowledge, global influences, and a passion for Southern California’s vibrant and fresh culinary landscape to this renowned hotel. Originally from the UK, Bedford’s upbringing inspired his journey from a childhood surrounded by his mother’s baking and father’s vegetable garden to his now illustrious career. His experience spans Michelin-starred kitchens, Five-Star hotels, and Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurants, including The Castel Hotel in the UK and The Fearrington House in North Carolina.

“I'm inspired by the local ingredients that are ever abundant here in Southern California. You’ll find that classic meets avant-garde in my dishes," says Bedford. "The key is quality and creativity, and we're going to have some fun with that here at Beverly Wilshire!"

Chef Bedford is already making his mark at Beverly Wilshire. He has transformed the kitchens to improve efficiency and revamped the menus to offer substantial, visually stunning dishes that bring guests back for more. For instance, guests can stop by THE Blvd try Bedford's famous Beef Wellington on Wednesdays and his sumptuous prime rib on Sundays. It’s this approach that is elevating the dining experience to new heights at this legendary hotel.

Outside of the kitchen, Chef Bedford is committed to giving back. He is returning for his fifth year with Chefs Cycle, a charity event that raises funds and awareness for No Kid Hungry, by riding 300 miles over three days.
