Mary Ann began her professional journey in Manila, Philippines, before immigrating to Canada in 1998. From the moment she arrived in Toronto, she set to conquer the hospitality industry with determination, driven not only to excel but to inspire other newcomers building their futures.

Her ability to strategize, mobilize, and deliver results in highly competitive markets has propelled her across major hospitality brand portfolios and critical industry roles. Along the way, she has earned meaningful recognition, including being named one of the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World by the Filipina Women’s Network in 2017.

Mary Ann joined Four Seasons Hotel Toronto in September 2020. During her time there, she completed numerous, major hotel projects including a multi-million-dollar room renovations, as well as forged strategic partnerships that led to strengthening the hotel’s positioning as the brand’s global flagship and one true luxury hotel in Toronto. Among her notable accomplishments were cultivating successful collaborations with the Toronto International Film Festival, Golden Globes, Vanity Fair, British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research (CANFAR) and Destination Toronto.

In August 2026, she moved to Beverly Hills and joined the tenured team at the legendary Beverly Wilshire. Since her arrival, she has focused on empowering her team, strengthening community relations, and advancing the hotel's strategic priorities as a valued member of the Executive Leadership Team. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce and is helping lead preparations for several mega-events and celebrations coming to Los Angeles, including Beverly Wilshire's centennial year in 2028.

Always a champion of workplace diversity, Mary Ann leads with authenticity and an inclusive mindset that sparks innovation and elevates performance. Today, she is regarded as a trusted mentor to many emerging professionals and colleagues striving to break barriers just as she has throughout her career.

Outside work, Mary Ann and her husband Marc enjoy exploring their new neighborhood in Beverly Hills, discovering new restaurants, visiting LA’s iconic landmarks, and as well as vacationing in resort destinations.
