Born and raised in Chiang Mai, Amonyot Thephatsadin Na Ayuthya’s passion for sports began early, with football, athletics, and Taekwondo shaping his childhood and teenage years. “Sports taught me discipline, perseverance, respect and the joy of pushing myself,” he shares. During university, his love for movement and competition naturally evolved into an interest in health and wellness, complemented by valuable hospitality experience in the recreation and concierge fields.

Joining Four Seasons in 2010 as a Guest Service Officer, he quickly discovered his calling in wellness, advancing through leadership roles before returning to the resort in 2024 as Recreation Manager. “Helping guests improve their health and wellbeing every day is incredibly rewarding,” he explains. “Creating a welcoming space where members feel motivated, supported, and celebrated in their fitness journey is what excites me most about my role.”

He believes wellness is more than just exercise. “Fitness and wellbeing are about balance and sustainability. It’s not only about intense workouts or strict diets but building habits that support both physical health and mental happiness over the long term.”

At Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, he leads a dedicated team of wellness professionals, including expert Muay Thai and tennis trainers, along with specialists in cultural immersion experiences. Guests can immerse themselves in a variety of unique experiences that combine fitness with local culture, such as Muay Thai sessions, the Tour de Maerim cycling journey through nearby villages, traditional pottery molding, rice planting, and natural tie-dye workshops. Each program is thoughtfully designed to accommodate all fitness levels and personal goals, offering a holistic approach that nurtures both body and mind while connecting guests to the rich heritage of Chiang Mai.

“Start slowly, focus on consistency, and listen to your body,” he advises those beginning their wellness journey. He himself stays active with football, Taekwondo, and mindfulness practices, prioritizing rest and balance to maintain energy and focus throughout the day.

Looking ahead, his vision for the Health Club is to continue evolving it into a space where guests of all fitness levels feel inspired and supported. By blending modern fitness programs with traditional Thai practices, he hopes to leave every guest healthier, more balanced, and deeply connected to themselves and the rich culture of Chiang Mai.
