Chef Natapol Pholpong, fondly known as Chef Net, brings a vibrant and heartfelt touch to the culinary scene at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai. Born and raised in Chiang Mai, Chef Pholpong's culinary journey began in his family's kitchen, a place brimming with laughter, love, and the tantalizing aromas of home-cooked meals. "Cooking with my grandmother taught me that the kitchen is the heart of the home," he reminisces.

Despite not pursuing formal culinary education, Chef Pholpong's passion for cooking was undeniable. After university, he embraced his calling, embarking on a culinary adventure that started in an Italian restaurant. Under the mentorship of an Italian chef, he mastered the art of blending authentic flavours with a creative twist. His career took him across Thailand, from the bustling streets of Bangkok to the serene beaches of Krabi and Samui, and now, to the lush landscapes of Chiang Mai.

"I respect original, authentic recipes. My style is to learn from the roots, understand the true essence of the dish, and then infuse my own creative flair," he shares. "When I cook for others, it's like I'm cooking for my family. I use the finest ingredients and pour my heart into every dish."

Chef Pholpong's commitment to sustainability and local produce is unwavering. "I believe in the power of local ingredients. They not only enhance the flavours but also support our community," he explains. "Each dish I create highlights these local treasures, adding a unique touch to the dining experience."

What truly sets Chef Pholpong apart is his deep connection with his guests. "Seeing people smile as they enjoy my food, sharing moments of joy and laughter around the table, fuels my passion. It’s like sharing a piece of my family’s happiness with them," he says with a smile.
