Adorn Bar & Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is proud to announce an enhanced wine program designed to position the Gold Coast destination among Chicago's premier dining experiences for wine enthusiasts. Under the direction of a new, female-led leadership team, the program features more than 413 labels, over 30 wines by the glass, a robust half-bottle collection, curated tasting experiences, and an expanded calendar of exclusive wine dinners throughout the year.

Further cementing its status as a destination for wine lovers, Adorn has been recognized with the 2026 Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, honouring restaurants whose wine programs demonstrate exceptional quality, depth, and service.

"Wine has become an integral part of the Adorn experience," said Victoria Hutchinson, General Manager of Adorn Bar & Restaurant. "Our goal is to create a program that appeals equally to seasoned collectors and curious guests, offering access to rare and highly allocated wines while making discovery approachable through thoughtful service, tastings, and educational experiences."

At the heart of the program is a carefully curated collection emphasizing world-class Champagne and California Cabernet, complemented by a diverse selection of domestic and international producers. Guests can explore more than 30 wines by the glass, including a specialized Coravin Selection featuring premium icons like The Mascot and Fortunate Son by the pour. This is supported by an extensive, newly implemented half-bottle collection featuring elite producers such as Krug, Gaja, and Altesino, as well as rare, small-production wines sourced from celebrated regions around the world.

To ensure optimal storage conditions and preserve the integrity of its most highly allocated selections, Adorn utilizes two distinct temperature-controlled cellars for white and red wines. This allows the restaurant to maintain pristine verticals of acclaimed producers, including the Harlan Family collection (Harlan Estate, BOND, and Promontory).

The wine program is supported by a dedicated team of Level 1 and Level 2 Sommeliers, who introduce a "Sommelier in Residence" offering to provide an extra layer of tableside expertise, education, and hospitality.

Adorn's new quarterly wine dinner series and bimonthly Magnum program bring together acclaimed wineries and custom culinary menus for intimate storytelling and pairings:

  • Rare Champagne Dinner (September 9, 2026): An evening of effervescent luxury beginning with a welcome reception featuring Piper-Heidsieck Brut NV, followed by a seated four-course dinner. Tickets and additional details coming soon.
  • Bruno Giacosa Dinner (November 13, 2026): A deep dive into the soul of Piedmont, Italy, showcasing the legendary Nebbiolos and Barolos of the prestigious Giacosa estate. Tickets and additional details coming soon.

Additionally, Adorn will host regular, ongoing sommelier-led tasting experiences in the Adorn Bar space throughout the year, offering guests frequent opportunities to explore featured regions, unique domestic varietals, and large-format bottles in an intimate setting.

Presented annually since 1981, Wine Spectator's Restaurant Awards recognize restaurants that offer well-chosen wine lists with a clear theme, professionally presented and supported by knowledgeable staff. Adorn’s 2026 recognition reinforces its standing as a premier destination for exceptional wine and luxury dining in Chicago.
