Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River presents Riverside Rhapsody — a one-night-only musical celebration that captures the essence of summer through sound, setting, and shared artistry.

Held in the hotel’s serene Arrival Courtyard, the evening begins at 6:00 pm with a welcome cocktail and curated canapés served amid candlelight and tranquil water features. Guests are invited to settle in as the evening opens with a special 15-minute performance by talented student musicians from Shrewsbury International School Bangkok — a showcase of the city’s next generation of musical talent.

As twilight deepens, the rhythm builds with a 45-minute performance by a distinguished string quartet. Curated around the theme of summer, the repertoire blends light classical pieces, contemporary favourites, and spirited Latin and tango-inspired works — specially arranged to evoke warmth, vibrancy, and joy.

The quartet features four acclaimed musicians whose international credits include Carnegie Hall, Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie, and Vienna’s Golden Hall. Together, their diverse backgrounds and genre-spanning artistry deliver a powerful musical experience that merges refinement with modern energy.

About the Quartet

Led by violinists Kittipith Kaivikai and Thanaporn Sathienwaree, violist Narawit Phoomesat, and cellist Teerakiat Kerdlarp, the quartet brings together extensive experience on global stages and a shared passion for creating atmosphere through music. Their collaboration blends classical mastery with contemporary energy, perfect for a summer evening beside the river.

• Kittipith Kaivikai: Graduate of the Institut royal supérieur de musique (Belgium), with leadership roles in Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and experience performing internationally, including at prestigious ceremonies.
• Thanaporn Sathienwaree: Accomplished performer with credits including Carnegie Hall, Vienna’s Golden Hall, and collaborations with artists such as Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli.
• Narawit Phoomesat: Mahidol University graduate and Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra member, known for performances at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and awards in international festivals.
• Teerakiat Kerdlarp: Principal Cellist of Bangkok Metropolitan Orchestra with expertise spanning classical and contemporary music, also a certified Suzuki educator.
