Budapest, Hungary

Kollázs Brasserie & Bar, recommended in the Michelin Guide and located at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the 2025 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. This marks the third consecutive year the restaurant has received this prestigious honour.

This international recognition celebrates restaurants with outstanding wine programs, featuring thoughtfully curated selections that complement the cuisine and uphold exceptional service standards.

“We are honoured to receive this recognition for the third year in a row,” says Gábor Becker, Head Sommelier. “Our wine list is a true labour of love—carefully curated to showcase both iconic estates and exciting new producers from around the world, with a special focus on Hungary’s exceptional wine heritage. With 23 diverse wine regions across the country – from the world-famous sweet Tokaji Aszú of Tokaj to the elegant reds of Villány and the crisp whites of Somló – we are committed to highlighting the unique varietals, terroirs, and stories that make Hungarian wines so distinctive. Every label is selected to complement and elevate the diverse flavours of our menu.”

Launched in 1981, Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Awards remain the only global program exclusively dedicated to excellence in restaurant wine service. The Award of Excellence is presented to restaurants whose wine lists feature a well-balanced, quality-driven selection that aligns with the style and pricing of the cuisine.

“At Kollázs, our mission is to create memorable dining experiences,” adds Adrien Poul, Director of Food and Beverage. “This continued recognition reflects our team’s passion, precision, and creativity—from cellar to table. It is a privilege to share this achievement with our guests, and we look forward to many more years of showcasing the very best of Hungarian and international wines.”
