September 9, 2024,
Toronto, Canada

Four Seasons invites runners, walkers, riders, and spectators to join Chairman and Founder Isadore Sharp, along with hundreds of Four Seasons corporate and hotel employees, for the annual Terry Fox Run at Wilket Creek Park in North York. This event supports Terry’s legacy and raises funds for cancer research in his name.

Four Seasons is dedicated to advancing cancer research through annual charity runs and other initiatives globally. This commitment has been steadfast since Terry Fox’s historic Marathon of Hope 44 years ago.

Realizing Terry’s Dream

In Toronto, Four Seasons Hotel Toronto and Four Seasons corporate head office organize Canada’s largest Terry Fox Run site at Wilket Creek Park, located at the corner of Leslie Street and Eglinton Avenue. On Sunday, September 15, 2024, thousands of participants are anticipated to run, walk, ride and skate along 2 km, 5 km and 10 km routes. Four Seasons employees and their families will volunteer to register runners, serve food and refreshments, and manage the children’s play area.

To date, more than CAD 13 million has been raised at the Wilket Creek Terry Fox Run site since 1981, with every dollar going directly to the Terry Fox Foundation. Last year, Wilket Creek set a record by raising CAD 677,351. This event supports critical projects, including precision oncology for young people, genetic research into hereditary cancers, and advanced studies in leukemia, brain cancers, and more.

As Terry Fox said in 1980, "If you have given a dollar, you are part of the Marathon of Hope."
