Four Seasons invites runners, walkers, riders, and spectators to join Chairman and Founder Isadore Sharp, along with hundreds of Four Seasons corporate and hotel employees, for the annual Terry Fox Run at Wilket Creek Park in North York on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

Realizing Terry’s Dream

Four Seasons Hotel Toronto and Four Seasons corporate home office organize Canada’s largest Terry Fox Run site at Wilket Creek Park, located at the corner of Leslie Street and Eglinton Avenue. Four Seasons employees and their families volunteer every year to register runners, serve food and refreshments, and manage the children’s play area, with hundreds also joining in the run itself.

Last year, Wilket Creek smashed its own record by raising CAD 922,059. Close to CAD 15 million has been raised at the Wilket Creek Terry Fox Run site since 1981, with every dollar going directly to the Terry Fox Foundation. This event supports critical projects, including precision oncology for young people, genetic research into hereditary cancers, and advanced studies in leukemia, brain cancers, and more.

Terry Fox Run at Wilket Creek Park Event Details

Award-winning Canadian media personality Gurdeep Ahluwalia will emcee the event on Sunday, September 14, 2025, starting with the opening ceremonies at 8:20 am. Toronto-born singer-songwriter Gabriella Reyes will perform the national anthem, and fitness experts Olivia Baldini and team will lead the warm-up before the official start at 9:05 am.

Four Seasons will also welcome Owen McDonald, a Terry Team member and cancer survivor who was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma shortly after his 16th birthday.

Entertainment will be provided by Juno-nominated artist and official DJ of the city’s own Toronto Raptors 4Korners, and beloved local band Ronson, known for their high energy performances across Canada and in the US.

The event will also feature a complimentary BBQ, kids’ activities and parking shuttles.  New to the run this year are the LOL photo booth, The Water Tap’s Trailer Bar, and the King Kone ice cream truck.

The Terry Fox Run is going green, so bring personal water bottles, and help the volunteer team out with garbage sorting by using the special recycling bins placed around the park.

Registration is free and can be done online or at Wilket Creek Park starting at 8:00 am.

Follow the event on Instagram @terryfoxwilketcreek and Facebook at TerryFoxWilketCreek, and look out for the Terry Fox Banner on Leslie Street, north of Eglinton.

The Marathon of Hope Continues

Inspired by his 1980 Marathon of Hope, Terry Fox’s legacy continues through more than 9,000 annual Terry Fox Runs worldwide, all led by volunteers. To date, more than CAD 950 million has been raised globally, funding more than 1,300 innovative research projects for cancer research in Terry’s name.  Through the Terry Fox Foundation, in Canada more than 20,000 passionate volunteers and 3.5 million students host and participate in nearly 10,000 annual runs and other fundraising events.

Commitment to Advancing Cancer Research

Four Seasons is dedicated to advancing cancer research through annual charity runs and other initiatives globally. This commitment has been steadfast since Terry Fox’s historic Marathon of Hope 45 years ago, when Isadore Sharp pledged support for Terry and encouraged others to support the cause.
