Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale announces its esteemed accolades from the prestigious Michelin Guide 2025 following week’s ceremony. Evelyn’s, the hotel’s signature Florida-meets-Eastern Mediterranean restaurant from Executive Chef Brandon Salomon, was added to Michelin’s Recommended list, and MAASS, the contemporary American dining experience from Chef Ryan Ratino, received one star. Michelin’s expansion of its South Florida coverage, and recognizing new destinations such as Fort Lauderdale, marks a major milestone for the city’s ever-evolving culinary scene, which earned one of the few stars distributed last week.

“We are ecstatic to have both of the hotel’s dining concepts recognized by the esteemed Michelin Guide in its inaugural edition for greater South Florida,” says General Manager Mali Carow of Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale. “These coveted recognitions are a proud moment for our team, whose passion, dedication, and creativity have been recognized for the incredible dining experiences we offer our guests and local community. This is more than a milestone for the property - it’s a defining moment for Fort Lauderdale. Our city is now firmly on the global culinary map, and we’re proud to have Evelyn’s and MAASS at the forefront of this movement, showcasing the talent, innovation, hospitality, and creativity of chefs like Brandon and Ryan that make Fort Lauderdale a world-class destination for food and travel.”

“This recognition from the Michelin Guide is truly the start of a dream come true,” shares Executive Chef Brandon Salomon of Evelyn’s. “I’ve dedicated my entire career to reaching this moment, and to have Evelyn’s honoured is both deeply meaningful and incredibly rewarding. It’s a reflection of the passion and precision our team brings to every dish, every day. Being part of this culinary movement in Fort Lauderdale - watching our city step into the global spotlight - is an honour in itself. I’m proud to help lead that charge and to showcase the rich ingredients, cultural influences, and coastal spirit that make dining here so special.”

Evelyn’s, celebrated for its vibrant Eastern Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and refined coastal ambiance, has firmly anchored itself among South Florida’s top dining destinations with the prestigious Michelin Recommended list inclusion. The restaurant captures the essence of Fort Lauderdale’s nautical spirit  - from its breezy ocean views to its elegantly modern design that echoes the city’s yachting heritage. Under the creative direction of Executive Chef Brandon Salomon, Evelyn’s delights with a menu rooted in fresh, locally sourced ingredients, thoughtful technique, and artistic presentation, offering guests a truly transportive dining experience where land meets sea.

MAASS — a chef-driven concept led by acclaimed Chef Ryan Ratino, known for his Michelin-starred Washington, DC restaurants — is celebrated for its elevated tasting menu and bold, imaginative approach to modern American cuisine. With limited seating and an immersive experience, the dynamic culinary destination pushes boundaries while honouring seasonality and sustainability. Whether sipping on expertly crafted cocktails or immersing in a meticulously curated multi-course Chef’s Counter experience, MAASS promises guests an exceptional culinary journey, and has earned one star by redefining fine dining - blending innovation with a menu as impeccable as its service.

“We are incredibly honoured to receive a star for MAASS. This recognition is a testament to the passion and dedication of our entire team,” says Chef Ryan Ratino. “At MAASS, we’re proud to be part of a culinary experience that reflects the exceptional service and luxury of our home at Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale.”

This is the first time the Michelin Guide has recognized multiple restaurants under one roof in Fort Lauderdale, highlighting Four Seasons as a definitive leader in the city’s growing status as a culinary destination. Guests are invited to experience Fort Lauderdale’s first Michelin-acknowledged restaurants at Four Seasons, where hospitality meets culinary artistry in an unforgettable oceanfront setting.
