Le Salon Krigler Opens at Four Seasons Hotel Houston

Ornate lounge to host Krigler clients for bespoke scent and candle experiences

Houston, U.S.A.

Krigler, the famed perfumery, announces its expansion within Four Seasons Hotel Houston. Le Salon Krigler, a 300-square foot VIP lounge has opened directly adjacent to the 800-square foot Krigler boutique on the Hotel’s lobby level.

For the first time since the 1970s in Monaco, Krigler offers Le Salon Krigler, where guests and collectors can come to experience the brand in a uniquely private setting. Offerings at the salon will be available by appointment only and include bespoke perfume (from USD 80,000) and candle making, private parties, and access to the Krigler archives. Additionally, the Krigler Collection Experience allows guests to learn about the brand while nibbling on petit fours, and sipping Champagne or a signature Krigler Cocktail from Bandista. It is expected that Le Salon Krigler will be embraced by celebrities, athletes, entertainers, and those seeking a private and luxurious way to experience Krigler’s perfumes.

Like all Krigler boutiques, the décor in the salon is primarily black and gold with mirrored accents, an homage to Krigler’s Golden Era during the Art Deco years, with the ambiance inspired by Parisian salons. The space is filled with French sculptures, collectable books from the Krigler Mansion in Germany, crystal bottles from Baccarat and Lalique (which may be purchased to house bespoke perfumes), and framed correspondence from Krigler fragrance clients, including members of the royal families in Monaco, Jordan and The Netherlands.

"We are absolutely thrilled to expand our partnership with Krigler,” says Tom Segesta, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Houston. “The addition of Le Salon Krigler will attract collectors from around the world to H-Town for a truly bespoke VIP experience.”

With the Hotel’s Advance Purchase offer, guests are able to save up to 25% off published rates when booking at least three days in advance. For more information, please visit online, call (800) 734-4114 or contact your travel professional (chain code FS).

About Krigler

Albert Krigler, a Berlin-born chemist, created his first scent, Pleasure Gardenia 79, in 1879 for his French fiancée. Enamored by the art of scent creation, Mr. Krigler opened a perfumery in 1904 in St. Petersburg, Russia, and began to create a collection of exclusive fragrances, before settling in the South of France in 1909. Along the way, Mr. Krigler gained acclaim and high-profile clients, including members of the royal family and European cinema stars. By the 1930s, Krigler perfumes were being sold at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, and by the mid-20th century, clients included notables such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and F. Scott Fitzgerald, members of royal families, John and Jackie Kennedy, and many more. Today, the famed fragrance house is run by Ben Krigler, Albert’s great-great grandson.
