This December, the cherished Hawaiian resort is set to welcome new and returning guests to the island with a vibrant array of seasonal activations from specialty holiday menus to engaging collaborations, interactive keiki (children) programs, and timeless festive traditions.

- Hualālai Festive Market | Thursday, December 19, 2024, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm - Located at the Hualalai Trading Company, guests can browse the beloved annual festive market for a celebration of local artistry alongside culinary delights and signature Hualalai gifts.
- Jingle Bell Run | Monday, December 23, 2024, 7:30 am - Rock the best holiday wear and join Resort guests for the annual Jingle Bell Run, which follows a scenic two-mile loop around Hualalai Resort.
- Santa’s Visit | Tuesday, December 24, 2024, 10:00 am – 12:00 noon - Assure keiki Santa does in fact make it all the way to Hawaii with an event that will surprise and excite all. Mr. Claus himself will make a special appearance on Christmas Eve morning to join the festive arts and crafts event hosted by Kids For All Seasons - a complimentary recreational and educational program for Resort guests ages 5 to 12.
- Christmas Dinner and Hanukkah | Wednesday, December 25, 2024, 3:00-9:00 pm - For those who celebrate, bountiful food stations will be fully stocked including seasonally inspired favourites, traditional dishes and of course a holiday sweets station of decadent desserts. In addition, the festival of lights will be celebrated with menorah lightings every evening of Hanukkah.
- New Year’s Eve Gala | Tuesday, December 31, 2024, starting at 6:00 pm - To ring in 2025, the Resort will host its annual New Year’s Eve Gala under the stars. Guests can delight in a selection of curated dinner stations set against the stunning backdrop of the Beach Tree pool, while a separate celebration for families - NYE Keika Gala - will be offered with kid-friendly activities, dancing, dinner and more. As the clock nears midnight, the Resort will commence the countdown to 2025 complemented by a stunning firework show along the water.
Guests can indulge in the culinary fanfare of celebrated chef Tyler Florence at the recently opened Miller & Lux Hualalai, bringing a Big Island take to the traditional steakhouse. In addition to these new dining experiences, epicurean programming will also be scheduled throughout the season including Luau & Polynesian Shows, Dinner Under the Stars and beyond.
Bolstering its holiday activations, a number of treasured seasonal activities will return for families, kids and individuals. In addition to the year-round Kids For All Seasons club offering art classes, movie nights, magic shows and more for guests ages 5 to 12, the festive season welcomes the return of Camp Manitou, one of the nation’s foremost summer camps. Introducing daily programming for children ages 9 to 17, a focus on group bonding through cultural, recreational and exploration activities is provided both at the Resort and across the Big Island. Examples include visiting secret beaches, exploring lava tubes and waterfalls, snorkelling at Kealakekua Bay and stargazing at Mauna Kea - kicking off the New Year with unforgettable adventures.
