Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole Unveils Details of Phase Two of its Renovation, Now Open for Business

An interior transformation brings a strong, rooted connection of place to this dining experience

Jackson Hole, U.S.A.

Westbank Grill, the signature restaurant at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, evokes a deep sense of place with its newly revamped interior by San Francisco based designers Wilson Ishihara.

The concept of the restaurant was inspired by the majestic tranquility of the surrounding natural landscape coupled with rustic touches influenced by the heritage of Jackson Hole. The design plays off of rodeo and dude ranch culture by incorporating features such as western-inspired fabrics and references to harnesses in the leather details.  The new carpet explores the relationship between the meadow and the foot of the mountain and highlights the way the colours intersect and blend together. A large, abstract shaped chandelier evokes the form of a mountain range, while the black stone pendant light over the chef’s table represents the plateau of the mountain.

One of the recent renovation’s more notable features is a large hand-embroidered tapestry, inspired by Native American textiles, that hangs above the open kitchen concept in the Harvest area. The mixed media marriage of embroidery, charcoal drawings and ink sketches pays homage to campfire inspirations and the powerful connection to place.

This is phase two of three renovations for Westbank Grill. Phase one focused on the removal of a large stone fireplace, replaced with large floor-to-ceiling windows to bring in more light and sweeping views. Phase two centred around the design and final touches of the interior. Phase three, set to be completed later this summer, comprises of the expansion of the outside dining space, opening up more options for private dining and events.

This summer, diners can expect a fully sensorial dining experience as their eyes feast on the new décor and their palate savours Chef Michael Goralski’s new summer menu, including local offerings such as Vertical Harvest vibrant green salad, tableside carving presentations, and house-made charcuterie boards. To round out the experience guests are encouraged to ask in-house sommelier Anthony Puccia, for a wine pairing options.

Ready to check out the new space? Westbank Grill is open daily for breakfast and dinner and will be hosting a Father’s Day steak and cabernet offering. To book call 307 732 5620.
