“Wild by Four Seasons” Debuts This Summer at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole
Partnership with Galley Wild makes prominent western art available to guests
New for summer 2023, Gallery Wild introduces “Wild by Four Seasons” – featuring more than 50 pieces of western art by 20 artists – at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole. All pieces are available for purchase, complemented by programming to include art walks and intimate artist receptions.
“Jackson Hole is known for its dynamic art community, and is well established among the top art destinations in the United States,” says General Manager Ryan Grande. “We are thrilled to partner with one of Jackson Hole’s most prestigious western art galleries to bring this beautiful collection to life. The gallery is ever-changing, and will offer a programming component to further engage our guests.”
This innovative collaboration promises to elevate the guest experience at the property, creating an immersive and unforgettable journey into the world of contemporary western art. Art collectors and enthusiasts can view the collection of carefully selected artwork by renowned local, regional and national artists, each piece a testament to the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of the region.
Featured artists include painter and photographer Patricia Griffin, who draws inspiration from the wildness of the Greater Yellowstone Basin to create her captivating animal paintings on linen. Also highlighted is Salt Lake City-based Nealy Riley, whose work showcases contemporary wildlife, and often includes oil and gold or metal leafing. Regional artist Amber Blazina, known for her bold, energetic paintings, was commissioned for a signature wolves and bison piece in Ascent Lounge. Pulling the wildness of the outside in, gallery namesake Carrie Wild also created special pieces featured in the front entryway.
Designed to provide guests with an unparalleled art experience, this partnership extends beyond the Resort’s walls and invites guests to embark on an artistic adventure in Jackson Hole. While on property, guests enjoy access to the collection, art walks and intimate artist receptions hosted by Gallery Wild. Throughout the year, guests will have the opportunity to participate in bespoke art presentations and programming led by experts to further immerse guests into the world of western art.
"Our hope is that ‘Wild by Four Seasons’ will create an unforgettable experience for guests,” says Gallery Wild Co-Owner Jason Williams. "Art and architecture in the west have continued to evolve, and the artists featured at Gallery Wild are constantly growing and exploring their skills. Guests will have the chance to view works both by established and emerging artists, as well as personal access and insight into the artists themselves.”
Jackson Hole has taken its place alongside Scottsdale, Santa Fe, San Francisco and New York as a major destination for art lovers, becoming known as the “Art Center of the Rockies.” The destination’s dramatic landscape and diverse wildlife have inspired artists such as Ansel Adams, Thomas Moran, Charles Banks Wilson and Conrad Schwiering. Visitors can explore close to 30 local galleries – including the prestigious National Museum of Wildlife Art – representing a broad range of styles and mediums.
Gallery Wild, located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Santa Fe, New Mexico, highlights contemporary fine art inspired by wildlife, open spaces and conservation. Owned and operated by Jackson Hole-based wildlife painter Carrie Wild and her husband, wildlife photographer Jason Williams, Gallery Wild's works and philosophy are inspired and directly influenced by thousands of hours in the field observing, studying and falling in love with all things wild. The collection features established and emerging artists who offer a variety of mediums including both oil and acrylic paintings, bronze sculpture, mixed media and photography.
