Italian Affair: Alto Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta Presents Six-Hands Dinner with Michelin-Starred Italian Chefs
A remarkable journey through the flavours of southern Italy, available for two nights only
This November, as part of its acclaimed Italian Affair culinary series, Alto Restaurant & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta will host an exclusive six-hands dining experience by three celebrated chefs hailing from the Puglia region in southern Italy.
Executive Chef Marco Violano of Alto teams up with Chef Felix Lo Basso, the chef-founder of Felix Lo Basso Home & Restaurant (1 Michelin star) in Milan, to present an exclusive collaborative dinner on November 8 and 9, and Sunday Brunch on November 10. Dessert selections will be crafted by Michelin-starred Pastry Chef Domenico Giove, who leads the sweet offerings at Chef Felix’s restaurant in Milan along with running his own family pastry shop, La Patisserie Giove, Ginosa, in Puglia.
Tracing a delectable route across southern Italy, the six-hands menu features classical recipes updated with new and imaginative twists. Guests can look forward to sampling signature dishes from each of the chefs, including Chef Felix’s Neapolitan Paccheri Pasta with king river prawns and zucchini, Chef Marco’s Amberjack with escargot and lemon-saffron sauce, and Chef Domenico’s Cherry Chocolate, a sumptuous pastry that is as stunning as it is satisfying.
Guests can also enhance their dining experience with wine pairing, featuring a curation of fine wines from the vineyards of Piedmont, Italy.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Chef Felix and Chef Domenico to Alto, where they’ll be showcasing their talents for the very first time in Jakarta,” says Chef Marco. “All three of us come from the Puglia region and are passionate about sharing the best of our native cuisine. We’re especially excited for our local epicurean community to join us for this special event, which promises to be one of the highlights of the year at Alto.”
Located on the 20th floor of Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta, the award-winning Alto Restaurant & Bar features captivating red interiors and an open-air penthouse terrace. Celebrate the joyful Italian way of life, surrounded by panoramic views of the city.

Meet Chef Felix
Hailing from Molfetta, Chef Felix Lo Basso completed his culinary education across reputed restaurants in Italy and abroad. In 2011, he was awarded the prestigious Michelin star for the first time. Born in the sea and developed in the mountains, his cuisine is rooted in a respect for tradition as well as a desire for experimentation, with Puglia at its centre. After launching two Michelin-starred restaurants previously, Chef Felix opened Felix Lo Basso Home & Restaurant in Milan in 2020. The restaurant currently holds one Michelin star.
Meet Chef Domenico
Chef Domenico took his first culinary steps at La Patisserie, his family pastry shop in Puglia. After earning his diploma in pastry arts, he honed his technique under maestro Iginio Massari before entering into a rewarding collaboration with Chef Felix Lo Basso. Today, the two chefs collaborate on multiple projects while Chef Domenico continues to run his family pastry shop back home. In 2023, he was featured in Forbes Italy’s “Under 30” list.
