Adding a new gleam to its seventh anniversary celebrations, Bar Trigona at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur has garnered a spot among Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 — a distinction it has held for seven consecutive years. Continuing its journey of excellence, the destination bar has been ranked #39 on the coveted list, announced on July 15, 2025 in Macau.

The recognition once again places Bar Trigona among the region’s foremost drinking destinations. Since its inception, the bar’s focus on reimagining homegrown ingredients has paved the way for sustainable mixology in Kuala Lumpur, playing a key role in the city’s rise on the global cocktail stage.

Aiming to showcase the country’s vibrant diversity while simultaneously empowering local communities, the team partners with Malaysian farmers and food producers to procure fruits, herbs, spices, flowers and of course, trigona honey. Behind the bar, a low-waste approach reveals new possibilities of taste, texture and colour as ingredients are utilized in their entirety.

In celebration of its seventh anniversary, Bar Trigona introduces a trip down memory lane. Available through July 2025, Handpicked by Trigona is a curated anthology of cocktails from standout menus over the years — from the very first sip that put Bar Trigona on the map to the latest innovations pushing the boundaries of flavour and storytelling.

With each cocktail, guests can taste a moment in time — a reflection of the people, ingredients and inspirations that brought it to life. Return to the bar’s early days with The Green Hornet (Trigona Bee menu, 2018); discover its low-waste focus with Dance of Calypso (Life Cycle of a Fruit menu, 2022); and embrace recent bold experiments with Inca (Colour Me Curious 1.0 menu, 2024).

Along with the Handpicked by Trigona selection, Bar Trigona is currently serving its Colour Me Curious 2.0 menu. Designed to spark wonder and engage the senses, the cocktail list guides guests through Malaysia’s natural abundance with a wide range of offerings, including signature bottled cocktails, rare indulgences, and low ABV and spirit-free options.

Legacy of Accolades

In previous years, Bar Trigona has also won the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award and the Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu Award. In 2022 and 2024, it was awarded the title of Best International Hotel Bar in Asia by Tales of the Cocktail Foundation. Earlier this year, it was ranked the #3 Bar in Malaysia by the inaugural edition of Tatler Best Malaysia.
