Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur Welcomes the Festive Season with Craft, Cocktails and Culinary Celebrations
This festive season, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur welcomes guests to share exceptional flavours, raise a toast, and linger over timeless traditions. Bringing the warmth of the holidays to the heart of the capital, the year-end calendar moves from richly laden tables to the thrill of midnight countdowns.
Rising above the Golden Triangle, with views across KLCC Park and the skyline beyond, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur places the city’s energy close at hand while giving each celebration its own sense of occasion. Starting with Thanksgiving and continuing through Christmas and New Year, this year’s festive program is highlighted by a seasonal afternoon tea paired with batik and a collection of locally inspired cocktails – bringing distinctly Malaysian crafts and flavours to the festivities.
“There is something truly special about welcoming our guests for the holidays,” says Simon Barnett, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur. “Led by our team’s creativity and care, the festive spirit is shared through cherished rituals, local touches, and intuitive service that makes each moment feel personal and memorable. We look forward to sharing another unforgettable season together.”
Festive Afternoon Tea with Batik Painting |December 1 to 31
A familiar ritual glows with fresh vibrancy at The Lounge, where guests can discover refined teatime delights alongside a beloved Malaysian craft. Paired with a hands-on batik painting experience, the holiday-inspired afternoon tea features sweet creations like the Winter Wonderland Opera with Earl Grey frost, Santa’s Choux with cinnamon whip ganache, and Polar Express with eggnog mousse. Savoury highlights include the Sabah lobster terrine, foie gras praline, and beef rendang croquette with truffle and nasturtium. A choice of fine tea or coffee completes the offering.
A Holiday Drink for Every Table | December 1 to 31
Newly arrived from Nashville, Beverage Manager Alexandre Renoue marks his first festive season in Kuala Lumpur with five signature cocktails – one for each dining destination at the hotel.
Curate’s love for the hibiscus inspires Festive Bloom, a tropical expression of the season, completed by cranberry and local calamansi. At Yun House, aromatic depth takes centre stage with Golden Winter, crafted with cognac, jasmine, mandarin, and ginger, while Bar Trigona shares the holiday spirit with Pain d’Hiver, combining bourbon, brown butter, French cake spices, and Trigona honey to evoke the warm nostalgia of gingerbread.
For lighter, spirit-free sipping, guests can try Christmas in the Tropics, a refreshing blend of fruits, coconut water, and kaffir lime at the Pool Bar & Grill, and Winter Rose, a soft composition of white tea, pear, rose, and vanilla – inspired by the elegance of afternoon tea at The Lounge.
Thanksgiving Feast | November 26
The season opens with a Thanksgiving dinner buffet, headlined by favourites like whole roast turkey and roasted prime rib – perfect for sharing with loved ones on a night that values gratitude and togetherness.
Christmas Flavours | December 24 to 25
Dressed in traditional holiday colours, Curate welcomes Christmas with carollers, live music, and a visit from Santa Claus. Alongside a spread of holiday classics, guests can explore standouts like the Cantonese steamed lobster, a 20-kilo yellowfin tuna, and Beef Wellington. A giant Yule Log travels along the restaurant, cut and served tableside.
At Michelin-selected Yun House, Christmas takes a Cantonese turn. Merging rare ingredients with local flavours, Chef Jimmy Wong presents an exquisite set menu of time-honoured dishes with a modern touch.
New Year Celebration | December 31 and January 1
The year’s most dazzling night returns to Bar Trigona. Fresh off its eighth consecutive ranking among Asia’s 50 Best Bars, the bar ushers in 2027 with a countdown party featuring free-flow prosecco, selected cocktails, and a live DJ.
Over at Curate, the final night of the year welcomes families for an extravagant dinner buffet and midnight countdown. An Imperial Caviar station offers Osteria, T’Lur, to Ikura, alongside specialties like Teochew-style lobster. The celebration continues into the next day, with a lavish buffet and live music for brunch and dinner on 1 January.
Seasonal Highlights
Drawing on Malaysia’s winter harvest, Bar Trigona serves a signature cocktail collection, available through December. Curate extends the spirit of the season with a month-long holiday buffet, including highlights like braised beef short ribs in Stroganoff sauce and a Yule Log with forest berries.
