Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita Announces Complimentary Golf on Two Championship Courses for All Guests

With its picturesque east coast setting alongside the turquoise Indian Ocean lagoon and existing access to complimentary green fees on the Ernie Els Design course at Anahita Golf Club, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita already enjoys a reputation as a haven for golfers – a position that is now further strengthened with the announcement of the complimentary golf offering being extended to a second golf course: the Bernhard Langer signature golf course at Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club.

As one of Europe’s all-time greats, Bernhard Langer is held in the highest regard throughout the game. His playing triumphs include Majors at the US Masters at Augusta, where he has twice been a winner of the Green Jacket. His skills on the course also translate into design and his iconic course in Mauritius covers 94 acres (38 hectares) on the southern half of the Ile aux Cerfs island with the holes snaking up and down the length of the island, boasting naturally undulating topography, volcanic rock outcrops, lakes and gullies, and a variety of tropical trees and plants.

Following a series of enhancements to the course in 2013, Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club is accessible to players of all levels, with most holes offering views of the ocean – some with glimpses across clearings through the trees, others by coming close to the shore. The course has been recognised as the #1 golf club to play in a lifetime by Golf World.

At a length of 7,115 yards (6,469 metres), the Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club off­ers four sets of tee decks for each hole to ensure there is always variety in the angles of attack and approach.

All guests of Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita may now benefit from complimentary green fees at the Bernhard Langer course at Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club and the Ernie Els Design course at Anahita Golf Club. Advance tee time bookings are required and fees apply for golf buggy use. A complimentary golf shuttle operates by road between the Resort and Anahita Golf Club (a five-minute drive), while boat transfers to Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club are available throughout the day as from 7:30 am at a price of MUR 2,000 for the return journey.
