As part of its extensive transformation, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita unveils a new era of island wellness with the reopening of Oseyan Spa — Mauritius’s only overwater spa — now reimagined to nurture body, mind, and soul. Blending advanced treatments, mindful practices, and locally inspired rituals, the new spa concept redefines wellbeing on the island’s tranquil east coast.
The newly renovated single and couples’ treatment rooms reflect the resort’s refreshed design aesthetic, with natural light, soothing earth tones, and organic textures that evoke a sense of calm from the moment guests arrive. Each space is designed to blur the line between indoors and out, encouraging a deep connection with nature and the island’s serene energy.
At the heart of the new Oseyan Spa lies a state-of-the-art Thermal Suite, featuring a steam room, sauna, cold plunge, and experience showers — a rejuvenating circuit that harmoniously blends heat, water, and renewal. The highlight is the Royal Spa Suite, an overwater sanctuary perched above the turquoise lagoon. Complete with a handcrafted stone tub, private steam room, and relaxation area with sweeping views, the suite offers an intimate escape for guests seeking a bespoke and restorative experience.
The spa’s treatment collection welcomes Epicutis, a scientifically advanced skincare brand celebrated for its clean formulations that calm inflammation and support all skin types. Alongside dedicated rituals for expectant mothers and new mothers designed to restore balance and vitality, guests can also choose from vegan options across nail, body, and hair treatments, reflecting the resort’s commitment to conscious wellbeing and sustainability.
Oseyan Spa continues to feature MyBlend, a biotechnology-driven skincare line offering personalised diagnosis and visible rejuvenation, and Theranaka, rooted in Africa’s rich heritage and healing traditions. Together, they create a wellness journey that bridges science, nature, and spirit.
“At the heart of our philosophy is the belief that ‘a person is a person through others,’” shares Joelle Jennepy, Senior Director of Spa and Lifestyle. “Through our treatments, rituals, and mindful experiences, we invite guests on a journey of reconnection — to rediscover harmony within themselves and with the world around them. We honour this connection by creating meaningful moments that remind us that wellbeing flourishes through shared humanity and care.”
Expanding its beauty and grooming offerings, the spa also debuts a new Overwater Hair Salon, offering revitalising treatments such as Hair Botox, designed to deeply nourish and restore shine to all hair types.
Wellness at Four Seasons Mauritius extends beyond the spa. The enhanced Fitness Centre now features state-of-the-art equipment, a dedicated Pilates studio, TRX station, and professional swimming lessons for guests of all levels. Complementing physical wellbeing, a series of creative workshops invites guests to explore mindfulness through art and craft — including painting, wood engraving, and crochet. To complete the journey, sound healing and guided meditation sessions are offered in peaceful natural settings, allowing guests to restore inner calm while connecting to the rhythm of the island.
“Our goal was to create a sanctuary where every guest can truly reconnect with themselves — whether through movement, mindfulness, or quiet reflection by the ocean,” says Martin Dell, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita. “Oseyan Spa captures the spirit of modern wellbeing: deeply personal, profoundly restorative, and inspired by the natural beauty and rhythm of Mauritius.”
From transformative spa therapies to mindful artistry and ocean-inspired stillness, the reimagined Oseyan Spa at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita invites guests to embrace balance, beauty, and renewal — crafted in harmony with the island’s spirit of serenity.
