Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai Hosts 2nd Annual World Gourmet Festival March 15-25, 2018

Picking up from a spectacular 2017 that saw a series of exciting pop-up dinners, brunches and sundowners featuring some of the biggest names in the food and beverage world, Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai is set to raise the bar even higher in 2018 by bringing exclusive, high-end and never-seen-before concepts curated for the well-travelled, discerning patron.

The 2nd Annual World Gourmet Festival, partnered with Sanguine and Madam La Cave Wines, will be held from March 15 to 25, 2018 with sit-down dinners, pop-up wine cellars, wine and cocktail master classes and a Bar Night, elevating the overall experience.

Celebrated Michelin-star rated chefs - Julien Royer (Odette, Singapore), Vineet Bhatia (VBL, London), Dylan Jones and Bo Songvisava (Bo.Lan, Bangkok), Rishi Naleendra (Cheek by Jowl, Singapore) and David Myers (Adrift, Singapore) will delight patrons by showcasing their stunning dishes and elegant plating.

Odette, a Modern French restaurant by Owner-Chef Julien Royer, earned two Michelin stars since its opening at Singapore’s iconic National Gallery and also debuted on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017 list at rank #9 and on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017 list at rank #86. The menu at Odette is guided by Chef Royer’s lifelong respect for seasonality, terroir and artisanal produce.

Vineet Bhatia London (VBL) is owned by one of the world’s most exciting, creative and accomplished Indian chefs, who is also the first to receive a Michelin honour since the guide’s inception. Chef Vineet has managed to transform the perception of Indian cuisine, globally with his impressive portfolio of restaurants in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Bo. Lan, the famous Michelin starred Thai restaurant in Bangkok helmed by the husband and wife team of Australian born Chef Dylan Jones and Thai Chef Duangporn "Bo" Songvisava (rated as Asia’s Best Female Chef 2013). Bo. Lan is rated as #19 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants List 2017 and is one of Bangkok’s hottest tables championing the sustainable use of local ingredients.

Cheek by Jowl, the Michelin-starredmModern Australian restaurant in Singapore is owned by the talented husband-wife duo – Head Chef Rishi Naleendra and General Manager Manuela Toniolo. Chef Rishi is one of the few Sri Lankan chefs in the world to attain the Michelin status.

Adrift, launched by American-born "Gypsy Chef" David Myers, known for his insatiable wanderlust, is one of Singapore’s best known Michelin-starred restaurants. Despite his global reach, Asia has always held a special place for Myers.

Bartending wizards from some of the top bars globally – Cedric Mendoza (Manhattan Bar, Singapore) and Chris Tanner (The Vault Bar, London) will also showcase their cocktail skills.

India’s iconic fashion designer and couturier Manish Malhotra will be tailor-making stylish chef coats to be adorned by each of the chefs during the festival.

The festival is powered by Qatar Airways and supported by O’ Smart Mixers, Classic Malts, Johnnie Walker – The Journey, San Benedetto and Epigamia.

The festival will be orchestrated by Jasjit (JJ) Singh Assi, Hotel Manager, Hardik Shah (Assistant Director of Food and Beverage), Amanpreet Matharu (Director of Restaurants and Bars), Executive Chef Anupam Gulati and Head Mixologist Ashish Sharma of Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, who will curate each bespoke experience at The Club, San:Qi and Cocktail & Dining Lounge.
