A Season of Summer Soirees: Agora Debuts at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley
As the long days of summer settle over California wine country, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley introduces Agora, a seasonal pop-up open Thursday through Saturday on the Cabernet Terrace through October 2026. Inspired by the spirit of the ancient Greek agora, where people gathered for the pleasure of company, the concept finds its natural setting overlooking the estate vineyard and the Palisades Mountains in Calistoga.
Each evening, the Cabernet Terrace transforms into an al fresco lounge where cream tones, open skies, and vineyard views stretching toward the Palisades set the scene for soirées that linger well into the night. Programming includes complimentary weekly offerings that highlight local producers and regional flavours:
- Olive Oil Tastings - Thursdays at 4:30 pm, where guests can explore the nuances of premium extra virgin olive oil, guided through two distinct expressions side by side. Both oils come from Grove 45, a women-owned Calistoga producer founded by mother-daughter duo Ana and Marcela Hernandez, located near the resort.
- Weekly Wine Hour - Fridays at 4:30 pm, a sensory journey through Napa Valley's storied wine culture, led by local winery partners who pour and share the stories behind their bottles.
- Live Music - Nightly from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm, featuring a rotating roster of local and visiting artists.
Agora's menu is designed for a summer evening — small plates rooted in California produce and Mediterranean sensibility, passed and shared as the night unfolds. Highlights include tuna crudo with preserved lemon and tomato marmalade, fried artichoke hearts with chili crunch aioli, and a Spanish Caesar finished with fried anchovies.
The cocktail program, led by Lead Mixologist Carlos Gonzalez, draws from the luxury wines and spirits brands of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, including Moët & Chandon, Belvedere Organic Vodka, Hennessy, and Volcan Tequila. The Tzatziki layers Belvedere Vodka with Greek yogurt whey, cucumber juice, dill tincture, and a finishing mist of olive oil; the Mediterranean Negroni brings together Hennessy VSOP, house aperitivo, sweet vermouth, and Chandon Brut; and the Honey Woodinville Highball offers a lighter pour of honey-infused whiskey and citrus. Champagne, Vermentino, Rosé, and Malbec are available by the glass throughout the evening.
Agora is open Thursday through Saturday, 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, on the Cabernet Terrace through October 2026. All weekly programming is complimentary. Guests can continue the evening with dinner at TRUSS Restaurant + Bar, the resort’s all-day American-Mediterranean brasserie, just steps away.
