Chemin à la Mer Welcomes Live Music to Its Dining Scene at Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans

Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans and Chef Donald Link welcome Amanda Shaw to kick-off live music at Chemin à la Mer beginning Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
The award-winning Louisiana musician will share her Cajun brand of music at the 5th-floor restaurant every Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the restaurant’s lounge, affectionately known as the “Purple Grackle,” and every Saturday in the dining room from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm through the end of February. Beginning in March, the restaurant will host a rotating line-up of musicians to entertain diners.
"We are thrilled to have Amanda Shaw play at Chemin over the next five weeks; it's the perfect blending of authentic Cajun and contemporary sounds," says Chef Link. "Our guests will love her energy and Louisiana flavour while enjoying the rich shared history of our culture."
Mix a little bit of country and Cajun with a touch of rock and roll and blues, and the result is a funky Louisiana flavour that fiddler and singer Amanda Shaw brings every time her high heels dance across a stage. Amanda Shaw’s passion for her culture is evident in the diverse blend of music she creates with every note. With regular appearances at iconic events such as French Quarter Festival, Jazz Fest and others, the locally-raised musician has carved out her place in Cajun culture by becoming one of the most recognizable brands in Louisiana music. Recently inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, Amanda gives her fans a superior way to experience Louisiana-rooted, world-class music. Her impressive music accolades also include six critically acclaimed EPs and albums.
“I am thrilled to partner with Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans and Chef Donald Link’s Chemin à la Mer to offer guests authentic local music in a beautiful New Orleans property,” says Amanda Shaw. “I became a musician and fell in love with Louisiana culture by playing Cajun songs and I’m excited to share this joy with guests visiting the special Hotel and unique restaurant lounge.”
