Four Seasons Resort Orlando Announces Capa Chef and General Manager, New Web Site
Michelin-rated Capa Steakhouse appoints Chris Edwards Executive Chef

Capa Steakhouse at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort has a new chef behind its signature wood-burning grill.
Chris Edwards was appointed Capa Chef, most recently joining Four Seasons after serving as executive chef at 1921 in Mount Dora, Florida. Edwards joined in time for the Resort to kick off its 10th anniversary celebrations, which began in August. He brings ample experience serving as an executive chef in leading upscale restaurants, in cities including Atlanta and Palm Beach. An avid enthusiast of grilled meats, the role of Capa Chef is fitting for Edwards, as many of the dishes on Capa’s menu are grilled over pecan wood on an open flame. Edwards holds his degree in culinary arts from Johnson & Wales University.
“I’m truly excited to helm the culinary team at Capa,” says Edwards. “While I joined at the perfect time, on the heels of a spotlight on the Netflix show Somebody Feed Phil and already with one Michelin star, I look forward to growing the momentum and further enhancing the overall dining experience at Capa.”
In addition to Edwards’ appointment, Chris T. Wong, hailing from Connecticut, has been appointed as Capa General Manager. Wong has worked at Four Seasons Resort Orlando since its opening in 2014, previously as Assistant Director of Banquets, and also as In-Room Dining Manager and Ravello Assistant Manager. Highly familiar with the needs of the operation, Wong is also a true "foodie," and takes pride in the premium level of cuisine as well as the elevated guest service that Capa is known for.
Additionally, Capa has launched a new web site, showcasing new photography of the vibrant, sophisticated restaurant.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Chef Chris to lead the culinary vision at Capa, bringing his creativity and passion to further elevate the Michelin-starred experience our guests have come to expect,” says Jennifer Rama, Director of Food and Beverage. “Also, with Chris Wong’s leadership at the helm of the front of house, I’m confident that the exceptional service and hospitality Capa is known for will continue to shine.”
About Capa
Capa Steakhouse, decorated in bold hues of black, grey and crimson, encompasses the entire 17th floor rooftop of Four Seasons Resort Orlando. Rated as one Michelin star for the past three years, Capa is an upscale dining destination for any occasion. A highlight is the expansive terrace, with incredible views of the Disney area as well as the nightly Magic Kingdom Park fireworks. Drawing inspiration from the Basque culture of Spain, the restaurant décor pays homage to an important part of Spain’s history, with a ceiling art installation flowing overhead, of Spanish fans. Design highlights include a bar that is featured front-and-centre, surrounded by a mural of antique Spanish coins in the shape of a matador and bull, plus the open kitchen with custom display cabinetry, and guests can take in the action of Chef and team. Several dark wood finishes, such as charred moldings framing the elevator doors, serve as juxtapositions for the hand-painted Spanish inlay in the lobby. In addition to its Michelin recognition, Capa has received the prestigious “Restaurants from Spain” certification.
